MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry says he opposes a fence along the U.S. border with Mexico.

Speaking to hundreds of New Hampshire voters at a private reception Saturday afternoon, the Texas governor says a fence would be ineffective and take too long to build.

The comments, which produced one angry shout, expose a rift with some conservative voters over Perry's immigration record. Tea party activists in Texas have been particularly upset by his steady opposition to the fence. He also signed a law giving illegal immigrants in-state tuition for Texas universities.

Actually if you tried to opt out, you had to opt out of all vaccinations, you know those with a proven track record.

Now try and explain why he didn’t offer an opt in plan.

They use the same method to teach your children all about how fun the gay life style is, of course they offer an opt out provision, if you child brings home the note, and on rare occasions when someone raises enough stink to make the parents aware.

You may think you Texans decide how you live, but you don’t. In some states you can choose how you die at the states hands, but there are few aspects of your life that you have absolute control over.

Now go back over to that 1300 plus Palin thread they moved to the back of the line and sow some more discontent.

He can safely say that he supports boots on the ground, because hw knows the Feds will never do it, and he certainly isn’t about to use the States resources.

My, my what ever happened to all that talk about secession, he could put troops anywhere he wanted then.

All hat and no cattle.

But but hocndoc insisted that Texans alone decide how they live.

Did you oppose the Trans Texas Corridor. Lot of farmers would have been robbed.

Didn’t think so.

There are indeed few things we have absolute control over. I rant and rail against my city council all the time. However, we did win on the TTC and I believe we could win on controlling the border by patrol, rather than a useless fence.

If the farmers can’t compete then they can die like the rest of us.

We have spent millions on high tech fences that McCain said were the answer. The answer is as old as history. Stop or I will shoot, then shoot when they don’t stop. They may choose to not stop, and you might miss when you shoot, but that worked pretty well on me when I was a kid.

Why? The U.S. Army is not going to fire on unarmed men, women and children.

You have convinced me, there is absolutely no reason to resist the Borg. The outcome is a forgone conclusion, because you said so.

I have an easier solution, you guys just give Texas back to Mexico. Oh wait you already have, since the Hispanic(a recently made up race) population is already the majority in Texas, and about 70% of them are on the public dole.

They send you notes about absence because it costs them money when you kids don’t attend. Don’t be so niave as to think they make equal attempts to tell you when they are pulling a fast one.

Can we see an example of the rage you vented over the TTC which would have done a lot more damage to farmers than a stupid fence?

Tell me how big a disappointment he is after watching this video. You took him out of context of course Ruio’s only concern was the potential for profiling. He is for securing the border. He would prefer the feds do it. But he understands when states have to do what the feds wont.He states that the U.S. can’t absorb all those who would come from Mexico. You have him wrong. And after meeting him on Monday night I buy his take over yours any day.His take is here. http://shark-tank.net/2010/05/19/marco-rubio-the-federal-government-needs-to-seal-the-border/

What is stupid is thinking that we don’t have the power to secure our own border, unless you like it that way.....
