100,000 people? What was this? The March of the Million Fingers and Toes? Like Barbie once said, “Math is hard”.

Stan Greenberg.

I remember when Car-vile and him went over there to keep Bibi from being elected. They're scum.

Happy International bacon day?

What is it they hope to accomplish? Implode themselves?

It's still not clear to me what the heck they are protesting about. High food and housing prices? Oh, the horror.

It sounds like a bussed-in whiny liberal crowd, a' la Wisconsin union types. But 100,000 people is kind of small, considering the hype. Hold the line, Netanyahu!

The Israeli left is essentially socialist/communist in its origins. It is simply the desire to confiscate wealth to put into their own pockets.

>>> 100,000 people is kind of small, considering the hype.

To put that in perspective, round off the Israeli population for 6 million so 100,000 becomes one in sixty Israelis showing up. Compared to the USA as a proportion of population a crowd this size would be the equivalent of about 5 million protesting Americans.

Too many for a politician to just ignore.

If they want cheap rent, they can move to Sederot and see close up what missile attacks do to property values. Or they can move to Tapuach and see what the twin threats of forced removal and Arab attacks does. Hell, they can move to Mitzpeh Avichai and stay for free. Tel Aviv-ites. Heads in the clouds, feet in dog poo.

If Netanyahu somehow falls as a result of this, and a left-wing gov’t
sympathetic to Palestinian statehood gets in and implements its Obamaism, these protests will soon pale in comparison to the wrath of the now-silent conservative majority.

If I were Bibi, I’d call immediate elections, and laugh all the way to the Prime Minister’s Office with a new mandate and a diminished opposition. “Demonstrations” don’t need to bill rock stars to attract a crowd.

No, Carville went over to unseat Bibi. He already was PM, and then Ehud Barak replaced him as PM, offered concessions which brought more suicide bombings, which then elected Sharon, who, his son caught in a corruption scandal for which surely he was only the bag man, then ethnically self-cleansed Gush Katif, ripped apart Likud and formed Kadima, and assumed the horizontal, living-dead position he presently occupies. Now Bibi’s back, and the POTUS is trying to use another Clintonista to unseat him again. Lotsa luck—NOT.

100k in Israel is enormous. There are only a 7.7 million people in the whole country, which would be equivalent to 4.2 million marching in the US.

That may answer my question; I was going to ask, commies or TEA Partiers?
