Absolutely horrible wind in East Texas that I hope is not the same in the south. But probably is. I drove back from Houston yesterday..and the winds were fierce..even without the added fuel of a fire.
Pray for rain.
The wind was pretty fierce here in North Texas today, as well. I damn near got blown into the guard rail several times while driving.
Just heard from a friend on Facebook who lives in Bastrop.
“At my son’s house. We think we lost everything. Had no time to get much.” Other friend of hers talked about being evacuated from Tahitian.
Fervent prayers for all in harm’s way tonight in my beloved state!
