The north San Diego County newspaper had a story over the weekend regarding the demand of a liberal candidate that anonymous commenting be eliminated because some comments were “toxic”. A 207 post string of comments followed. Most of the toxic ones came from one of the candidate’s supporters using, not surprisingly, the poster’s real name. Not only hypocrites, but irrational hypocrites.

There was some discussion a while back of developing a new classification of mental illness called “partisan psychosis”. The justification for that proposal becomes clearer every day.
