NOGALES, AZ - The higher the wall, the harder they will fall. That's what border crossers trying to scale the new border fence at Nogales are painfully finding out.
The imposing new border fence running through Nogales is proving to be a treacherous obstacle for suspected illegal immigrants
A Nogales Police Department report says on Aug. 12, a woman broke her leg after climbing the border fence.
Two days later, officers found a second injured fence climber. And a third, suspected illegal immigrant from China fell and broke his leg on Aug 22.

If fences are so good, why not put up a 20 foot one on the North Korea/South Korea DMZ. That should allow a few troops to be sent home because the fence should do the job. Not!
Sounds to me like they need some more concertina wire on top - and in the potential landing area!

Rick Perry was right. I have to give him credit where credit is due. Who would ever have thought a fence could become The Lottery Ticket for Mexicans.
They come here for all the freebies that they will get, once on our soil.
If you put a big juicy steak outside a fence that houses a starving dog, I guarantee he will find a way to get to it!

When there is no longer food stamps, no welfare assistance, no subsidized housing, no employers that will hire them, no cheap paying jobs paying cash under the table, no free medical care, no free education for their children, no free scholarships for those who go to our high schools illegally, no ID's to steal - they will stop coming here!
BUT - it seems that both parties in DC are reticent to do a dang thing about it!
And every single day, THOUSANDS more manage to get onto the soil of the "Land of the Free" - where EVERYTHING is FREE for them!

If you want to know Perry's stance on illegals. It's about the same as Sarah Palin's.

One would think,with all the “intelligent” people in this country,one could figure out how to 1st., close the dang borders for good, including any tunnels being built. 2nd.- Figure out what to do with everyone already here!(It seems pretty stupid that an illegal comes to this country, commits a crime and at some time is deported back to Mexico and again returns to the United States! Easily!!)

The fence that India built has also been extraordinarily successful at reducing cross-border attacks by Pakistani infiltrators.
Of course the Israeli security fence has dramatically cut down terrorist attacks too.
Somehow it just can't work here though. Weird.
I don't think ANY American would even think of going to a foreign country and DEMANDING they speak MY language! (Or give me free food, housing, education, medical care, etc!)

That's the way it should be. We need to elect representatives and Senators in 2012 that agree as well. We tend to forget we need to focus on more than just the Presidency. Many dem seats are vulnerable in Congress in 2012. Let's scoop them up so that even if John McCain were President we'd still overpower his vetoes and get all that we want from the wall to mass deportation and English as a requirement. In fact, let's set the goal of gaining more control of the House and winning the Senate with Borders, Language and Culture type candidates.
We must get the best nominee possible to run against Obama but it does not stop there.
We've got a lot of work to do between now and November 2012.
We need to all get together and go after the real enemy. Liberalism.
You are correct the White House fence did not prevent a jug eared semi-Kenyan from sneaking into the White House
There was another RINO Mexican,Muslim loving Texas Governor there who did nothing as well.
