"I have read summaries of the article. I think this overstates the conclusions in the article quite a bit." You can be sure that the editors of Nature forced the authors to word the article to minimize the "damage" to the AGW meme. There has already been a lot of talk on climate skeptics blogs (Watts Up With That, DrRoySpencer.com) about that. IOW, the article was deliberately written to UNDERSTATE those conclusions.

Who’d a thunk it. A fusion fireball with a mass ~330,000 the mass of Earth would be the controlling factor in the Earth’s temperature.

What is "Nature Journal of Science"?
There are two prestigious journals: Nature, and then, far behind, Science. Science has sold its soul to the AGW cartel. Was this paper published in Nature?

He is so smart that he looked down the muzzle of his loaded M-16... while he adjusted the sling. Brilliant man... almost as smart as obama or kerry... but not quite up to biden’s genius level.

Ionizing atomic particles cause cloud formation via nucleation? I could have published -- and demonstrated that back
ca 1951 -- as a high school freshman...
I had one of these, and every time the aplha/beta source inside my cloud chamber emitted a particle, it nucleated a vivid streak of cloud along its track.
Don't tell me those AGWeenies are going to try to argue that CERN's results are bogus!

...I know some scientists are questioning the peer review process on this paper,...
Aren’t you talking about the Dr. Roy Spencer article in Remote Sensing?
I think this is a different article.

I can’t even find the link to the original article anywhere. It doesn’t seem to be on the Nature website. Can anyone else find the article? Or even a link to the real abstract?

To expect the Warmists to give up now is to engage in wishful thinking. Revelations of facts have never discouraged leftists. They will dig in their heels and call the Cern scientists incompetents or in league with evil Big Oil.
