Yahoo has fired its chief executive officer Carol Bartz and named the company’s chief financial officer Tim Morse as interim CEO.

“I am very sad to tell you that I’ve just been fired over the phone by Yahoo’s chairman of the board,” Bartz said in an email reportedly sent to Yahoo employees. “It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish you only the best going forward."

Good riddance to the liberal whacko Bartz. Let's hope the America-hating CEO of Pepsi Indra Nooyi will be the next Obama groupie to get pink slipped.

Most people in her position would be fired in a similar fashion. This termination was related to her poor performance. Had nothing to do with her politics (as loathsome as it was)

I couldn’t find any mention of Carol Bartz political affiliations or mishaps on wikipedia, neither for Indra Nooyi. Was Indra Nooyi the corporate executive that expressed that the U.S deserved 9/11? If so, that’s a real shame that she continued on and made Pepsi even stronger. I gave up Pepsi that day.

He could have fired her via text too. Equally hysterical IMO.

No mention of the acquisition of HuffPo. Was she responsible for that?

Frankly, AOL has been a lousy company from the very beginning. Their software was crummy, their techs were mostly incompetent, and they had little to offer in the way of content.

Don't know about 9/11, but Nooyi said the USA was the "middle finger" of the world - http://countrystore.blogspot.com/2005/05/idiot-season-has-opened-and-there.html. She failed to mention that she was the elephant butt.
