I agree....after Perry's 8 years...
Which means Rubio is unlikely to be Perry's VP.
BUT....It's a different time..and old stats won't apply.

Maybe. He needs time to develop a record, over the long run. Of course, it would cause an exponential spike in crazed postings here screaming that since his parents weren't US citizens when he was born, then he can't be considered a "natural born citizen".
(Hint: if he was a US citizen the moment he popped out of his momma's womb, he's a "natural born citizen"....)

Why does Marco Rubio need to be president? What has he done? Oh wait ... he is “Hispanic,” so that is why he needs to be president.
To: Free ThinkerNY
I sure hope so - unless he changes in the next few years (which does happen to politicians), Rubio’s great!

The greatest service Marco could perform for his country would be to announce: “Although I have been asked to consider running for the Presidency of the United States, I must notify the electorate that, because I was not born of two American citizens, I am not Constitutionally eligible for the office of President.”
So far, Rubio has not seen fit to do this—either because his parents WERE both citizens at the time of his birth, or because he does not have the imagination or courage.
The reason I call this a “service” is that, were Rubio to make this announcement BEFORE the election of 2012, everyone would be able to reach the logical conclusion regarding Soetoro’s eligibility, since it is an unquestioned fact that Obama’s father was a foreigner.

This has nothing to do with Marco Rubio, but do you know that many pregnant women from Red China take a "vacation" in the United States so that their children can claim to be American citizens?

I guess in a few years these commie kids can run for U.S. President.
