In the top 5 of his speeches.

For me I think the top one was at the National Cathedral three days after 9/11. The one on 9/20/01 - a PROPER reason for a JSOC - also ranks Top 5.

Definitely agree. Still watch or read that a couple times a year. He really gave a lot of great speeches, contrary to conventional wisdom. His eulogy at Reagan's funeral is another one of my favorites, as is his Nov. 6, 2003 speech on the 20th anniversary of the National Endowment for Democracy.

The National Cathedral speech was extraordinarily eloquent and moving. I remember sitting on my couch listening and weeping. For me it ranks up there with the reputed top Presidential speeches in history.
