Amazing and first-hand account.
I am so sick of hearing about 9/11, I know people perished, my husband is suffering from anxiety and depression he just returned to work he is still alive.
this would not have happened if we did not go around throwing our weight around the muslim world and telling everyone we are all the same and multiculturalism, etc.
the liberals and press are responsible for this crap. I want to move on with my life. I hold remorese for my fellow citizens and human beings that perished, but this is all a shallow rememberance.

Then maybe you should avoid the TV and the threads that clearly say they are about 9/11.
But muslim's killing people has been going on for century's. Especially each other and Christians. Had nothing to do with where we are but agree with you on the fact that we do meddle where we shouldn't at times....The Crusades were started by Christians that got tired of being killed and having their lands stolen by some gang of murderous muslims...They were trying to conquer the earth since the middle ages for whatever their god is....(little g in god on purpose)
I don't dwell on 9/11 either and, in fact, I haven't watched TV today at all. But the 10 year anniversary has made me think back and I spent some time on Youtube yesterday watching videos of that day...things I hadn't seen in years. I found this account which I posted particularly appropriate since it was someone who experienced it first-hand unlike myself. There's so many kids who have no clue what happened because they haven't been taught the facts; I found comments from many of them on Youtube.
I an very sorry if you have painful memories because of a personal experience.
I knew two people who were murdered that day. One in WTC. One in jet that crashed into Pentagon. I have cried a lot today. It is healing to stop and grieve and remember lost loved ones from time to time. Tu-Ahn Pham, and Barbara Olson.
That's the excuse used by some of the jihadists, but those folks had been doing stuff like this, though on a smaller scale, for years before we ever entered the fray in the Middle East.
We happen to be the big kids on the block, but the excuse that they hate us because we're interfering rings hollow in the face of the fact that they're killing their OWN, as well, if they don't deem them sufficiently devout, or are of a different sect of Islam.
