A SIX-year-old boy placed in the care of a lesbian foster couple was dressed in girl's clothes and the humiliating pictures were posted on the couple's Facebook page.
One of the women was preparing for a sex change to become a man at the time, while her girlfriend was undergoing fertility treatment.
The boy and his 12-year-old sister have since been moved but former Children's Court magistrate Barbara Holborow yesterday called for a full inquiry into the decision to put them there. "Oh my God, what are we doing?" Ms Holborow, who has fostered eight children, said.
Families Minister Pru Goward has demanded a full explanation from child welfare service Barnardos, which had recruited the couple.

I’ve seen too many innocent people accused of child abuse for completely reasonable parenting practices to automatically assume anybody is guilty of it.
We aren’t.

Sorry, purposely putting children in homosexual homes is, itself, child abuse, in my opinion, regardless of what may or may not happen.
I don’t disagree with that - I was orphaned myself and was a ward of the state from the age of 9 so I take a pretty strong interest in these matters. I want to see these kids get the best outcomes possible and I think that requires the most normal upbringing possible. But I won’t condemn people over one innocent that may have an innocent explanation even if I don’t think the child should have been placed with them by others.

I am familiar enough with homosexuals to think this was some innocent game-playing.

Since the invention of cameras parents have routinely photographed their children in embarrassing and even cringeworthy poses. Usually just cause at the time it seemed cute.
It’s only in the last couple of years it’s taken for granted that’s anybody else’s businesses.
