hiya man. I’m sure glad it’s cooled off a bit.
I will never forget that morning.
It was a beautiful day in Tx and I thought to myself after the first report was it inclement weather in NY?
Then the 2nd report came, and I just said “Bin Laden”
Happy anniversary! I know it’s a bittersweet day for yall, but knowing that the good guys prevail makes it better.
A lamentable date, but my Son was born while we made the first assault in gulf war one.
I was pissed. the entire staff was gawking at coverage on CNN.
I was bitching “HEY! HEY! HEY! we have a birth happening here! LOL
Cool fronts over. We are going to touch triple digits this week, and then it should finally be over.
This past week has been very nice.

Thinking about purchasing a handgun as a backup for home protection. Have shotguns now. 12, 16, 20. Looking at S&W 380 with the laser sight. Any thoughts?

Hand gun for home defense?
I think you have home defense covered.
I would look at a light revolver like the Ruger LCR or a light semi auto for out on the road.
Plus a Gun Vault under the desk, behind the curtains etc. etc...
I'd do 9mm tho, Glock G26 IMHO.
