Obama and Left cling to their Marxist religion, put 'civility' and nation's future at risk

President Obama is politically insane. This is the real meaning of his speech Thursday night in front of a joint session of Congress. Albert Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result. By that definition, Mr. Obama is a lunatic leftist.

Much of his speech called for more of the same — government activism; massive spending on infrastructure, bridges and roads; extending the payroll tax cut; and more public aid to states and municipalities. In short, he seeks to perpetuate the dismal policies of Obamanomics. He is a reckless ideologue masquerading as a pragmatist.

Mr. Obama’s presidency has been dominated by one seminal reality — failure. His nearly $1 trillion stimulus; record budget deficits; unprecedented levels of public spending; the government bailouts of the auto, insurance, housing and banking sectors; billions heaped on “green jobs”; Obamacare; Dodd-Frank to reform Wall Street, and huge outlays for food stamps and unemployment benefits — all have failed to restore the economy.

In fact, they have done the opposite. Unemployment is 9.1 percent. Growth is anemic. In August, no new net jobs — none — were created. Consumer confidence is low. Inflation is rising. The value of the dollar plummets. Burdensome regulations are strangling business. America is being buried under a mountain of debt. For the first time in history, its credit rating has been downgraded. The country is not only on the verge of national bankruptcy, but of economic collapse.

Any reasonable person would change course — but not Mr. Obama. He is a big-government liberal who worships at the altar of statism. The fact that we are broke and can no longer afford his borrow-and-spend policies means nothing. Like all fanatics, he is disconnected from reality.

James Hoffa roused a crowd of union workers in Detroit by promising “war” with the tea party. “President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these sons of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong,” Mr. Hoffa said in his introduction of the president. But even to this day, Obama hasn't condemed Hoffa on his comments. (September 6, 2011)

[N]ow that a key ally has called for blood to flow in the streets, the White House is silent." Indeed. The White House is silent because Obama and many Democrat leaders have themselves joined in the calls for violence against Republicans:

Before the election, the President told Hispanics, when referring to Republicans, that they should “punish” their “enemies.” Univision 10/26/10.

The President said if the Republicans gain control of the Congress there would be “hand to hand combat” on Capitol Hill.

(LA Times Oct. 5, 2010) VP Biden said that he would like to “strangle” Republicans.

(October 6, 2010) SEN-A-TOR McCaskill, the rube from Missouri, says that if Republicans continue to oppose confiscatory taxes that it’s time to “get out the pitchforks.”

(December 6, 2010) February 22, 2011 - Rep. Michael Capuano (D-Mass.) fired up a group of union members in Boston. According to the Dorchester Reporter and the video: "Every once and awhile you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary."

August 1, 2011 - Biden reportedly accused dowdy tea-partiers of “acting like terrorists” (and we know what to do to “terrorists” don’t we?) And now Hoffa calls for "war." The result: A rabid mad-dog, overheated group of followers.

Example: February 23: that a number of Twitter users, apparently unhappy with the budget plan, have publicly pleaded for someone to assassinate Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin: "Someone please shoot him?!" one user Tweeted. "Crazy people wanted!!!! Please have sniper skills," another wrote, later adding: "Some one please take out the governor Scott Walker."

Given Comrade Obama's past association with admitted terrorists (Ayers & Dohrn), I'd say it's about 50/50 that Obama actually wants riots & violence against Republicans. Just "rhetoric" you say? Obama is the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States. What irresponsible jerk uses such careless rhetoric holding that office? OBAMA. If ANY Republican made statements like these in public, they would be arrested and charged with inciting violence.

Congratulations on an extraordinary history making election!

We can think back with pride to decades of hard work toward our strategic goal of a big enough, broad enough and united enough labor and all-people’s movement that could overcome the ultra-right blockage to all progress. That all people’s movement has come to life, it is dynamic and it has the potential to keep growing.

The election of Barack Obama and a strengthened Congress creates new conditions in our country. There is now the possibility to shift gears and move forward. This new day requires us to further develop our tactics in order to continue to deepen and broaden labor and people’s unity.

There are thousands of experiences that we all have had in these momentous days, some large, some small, all of which express the enormity of change in thinking and readiness for involvement that is underway and that steels us for the battles ahead.

The tears of joy we all shared as crowds gathered to watch the election results here and throughout the world dramatize the new moment we are in.

Change is Here, Change is Coming

Let me begin with a simple observation: If the last 30 years were an era of reaction, then the coming decade could turn into an era of reform, even radical reform. Six months into the Obama presidency, I would say without hesitation that the landscape, atmosphere, conversation, and agenda have strikingly changed compared to the previous eight years.

In this legislative session, we can envision winning a Medicare-like public option and then going further in the years ahead.

We can visualize passing tough regulatory reforms on the financial industry, which brought the economy to ruin.

We can imagine the troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan while U.S. representatives participate in a regional process that brings peace and stability to the entire region.

In the current political climate, the expansion of union rights becomes a real possibility.

Much the same can be said about winning a second stimulus bill, and we sure need one, given the still-rising rate, and likely long term persistence, of unemployment.

Isn’t it possible in the Obama era to create millions of green jobs in manufacturing and other sectors of the economy in tandem with an attack on global warming?

Can’t we envision taking new strides in the long journey for racial and gender equality in this new era, marked at its beginning by the election of the first African American to the presidency?

And isn’t the overhaul of the criminal justice and prison system – a system steeped in racism – no longer pie-in-the sky, but something that can be done in the foreseeable future?

All these things are within reach now!

At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."

SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.
