No silence. I’m glad the illegals in our state can pay for their own college instead of us paying for them on welfare. Republicans in Texas, including Rick Perry, were right to do what they did. It’s not free tuition.
Yeah, you must have missed the part where the in-state tution for illegals says they ‘may be eligible for state aid’. And exactly where does state aid come from?
It’s subsidized tuition because foreign students shouldn’t be paying the lower state rate that American citizens pay.

I have a very close hispanic, 2nd generation Texan friend who’s kid applied for a hispanic grant here in Texas. She was turned down and told that the hispanic grants (at that college) were for illegals.

there are many on here who are happy to leave illegals on welfare while the Feds dawdle on immigration...or say they should all go back to Mexico and wait 13 years to get a visa. DUH.
