Caller on Boortz just said that the good strategy would be to take EXACTLY what Barry sends to the House and pass it. Take this issue off of the re-election table and when things do not improve, hammer Obama over the head with HIS bill.

If I hear there's gonna be a cut in the payroll tax, I say, "Wait a minute! That's how my program's funded. That is the only way my program's funded. We're gonna stimulate the economy that way?"

SS payout is already more than the inflow and Obama decided to reduce the payroll tax and may reduce it more? Yes, how exactly is the SS program going to survive with LESS inflow? I am not a fan of SS at all, but there has to be an age cap included in any reform, not just an immediate defunding of the program.

Not a bad plan, but it reminds me of the old phrase “cutting one’s nose off to spite their face.”....definitely would be painful for all of us.

I think Barry needs to watch “School House Rock’s” “I’m just a bill” to find out how it is exactly government is supposed to work.
