Agreed. Texas should have given the vaccine away for free like they were doing in Alaska that the same time.

Definitely worse things than dead. the point is this pathological liar insists that this vaccine kills more people than cervical cancer.

Nope that is a big lie. You are entitled to your opinion, but spreading lies diminishes those comments.

“...Sarah Palin as her own daughter has a very good chance of already being infected with the HPV virus.”

Imagine what you will about others parenting, but as governors Palin was right, Perry was wrong.

Rick S nailed it. You don’t catch HPV at school. So the justification for the nanny state it-takes-a-village crap NEVER existed.

It is the ONLY HPV stat that matters.

If there is one mother that should have wanted girls in Alaska protected against HPV, that mother should be Sarah Palin as her own daughter has a very good chance of already being infected with the HPV virus.

Well, IF she did she would have paid for the vaccine herself and NOT mandated the cost off to the taxpayers by executive order. And she certainly did not or would not charge the vaccine maker $5 grand to write out his order.

The state of California are currently looking at making the vaccine mandatory in CA. You have to start several years prior to becoming sexually active to provide protection against the disease. Perry does care about Cancer and is very active in TX raising money for the disease. Perry is also pro-life and does mostly care about life. I am from TX and very familiar about Perry and his beliefs.

To actually miss Bush II is a symptom of just how bad things actually are in the current adminstration.

AFAIC, Bush was marginally better than x42 Clintoon. Quite frankly where Bush excelled in comparision was his personal lack of beschmirching the dignitiy, honor and respect inherent to the office of President of the Un United States of America. Other than that I fail to see a great deal of disstinction betwixt either of their policies.

Perhaps the distinction lies in the focus of their policies, i.e., x42's was more domestic while x43 more foreign. American's are a quite fickle electorate (and it IS a very brutal business to be engagd in).

By not contortion of logic can it be asserted that because x42 was a fairly decent president that the current Sec. State would have been a decent president. What needs to be evasluated in that regard - since it is the ONLY thing relevant - is whether Hillary is superios to Madelaine Albriht.

Lets compare and contrast the two figures.

Medicine should be between you and your doctor. The only exception should be communicably diseases which are a danger to the public. I don’t want the government telling me or mine what care we can, can’t or must have.

Am I wrong not to want a man as President that thinks that doing things like this, by Executive Order is right? He didn’t even let it be a sate issue he went straight away and ordered it. His answer tonight clearly shows that he wasn’t sorry he ordered it he was sorry he got called on it. Lastly what assurance do we have that he won’t issue other such Executive Orders for the what in his opinion will be for ‘the good of the people’?

“The haters know that the opt out was part of it as it’s been brought up every time the issue is brought up.”

Let me get this straight. You actually believe a violation of personal rights is OK as long as a person can “opt out”??? BTW, that opt out wasn’t accepted at many private institutions, required a form to be filled out every two years, and the information had to meet certain guidelines or else it wasn’t accepted.

Do you even have kids in school ?
Do you have any idea how quickly TB can be spread when children are not tested.
Your abuse of the word “ fascism” is really disgusting.
You have even been to a fascist country ?

I would have to ask you how many 12 year olds get cervical cancer? If a woman decides at 18 she wants the vaccine, it is available...

TX has 1800 miles of fence between TX and Mexico. Border security is a federal function. TX has already spent $400 million on security as it is. You need boots on the ground and predator drones. Perry has asked Obama for assistance and has been refused several times. Heck, Obama won’t even deport criminals picked up in TX, so what is Perry supposed to do. Now his retort on the students in college was weak, but here is the situation. Republicans control both houses. This was not Perry’s bill. it was passed by the Legislature with only 4 no votes. Perry could follow the bill passed by the Legislature and make it law, or he could force his wishes on the entire Legislature and veto the bill. If a bill is passed by the Legislature Perry is more inclined to sign the bill or sunset it and let it become law. Much more complex than stated.

“Please note Michele never touched Romney... he seems to have teamed up with Romney.”

You gotta take shorter bathroom breaks.

She was all over RomneyCare.

Besides, as locals (I’m from her current home town - yes, a prejudice) know, TPaw was the state’s prime repository of Romney love. His man Vin Weber was Romney’s policy guy in 2008.

The Michele camp has few friends in RomneyLand.

It has to be administered before the girl becomes infected. The sad truth is that most people with cervical cancer are having sex before age 18. It needs to be done early. As for 12-year-olds getting cervical cancer, that question is irrelevant. The question is how many 12-year-old girls grow up to get cervical cancer. The answer is around 12,000 per year in America.

“Texas should have given the vaccine away for free like they were doing in Alaska that the same time.”

I, myself, would oppose that as well.

But it would have been better than what Perry did.

By Far!

“I will absolutely support Perry if he wins the primary. But, this country NEEDS a true conservative (such as Palin, Cain or Bachmann) who will stand on conservative principles and refuse to compromise.”

If he does win the nomination, he will have to do what McCain did and choose a VP that will balance out the ticket and attract the more conservative voters.

>>>If there is one mother that should have wanted girls in Alaska protected against HPV, that mother should be Sarah Palin as her own daughter has a very good chance of already being infected with the HPV virus.

What does this have to do with running the government and having your own control of one’s own persoanl life/so, do you go across to your neighbor and tell them what they should to do with their children/or suggest anything about their kids? If those of you, want to give your child, the shot, don’t force it on all of the rest. I would NEVER allow that to my child/if they did it on their own, that’s another story; their choice, they live with it. And how great to see ads in womens magazines in which they promote this shot. So wonder kids are confused.
