Joe Scarborough and Mike Bloomberg for president and veep? Yeah, that's the ticket—according to New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, who floated the idea during his Morning Joe appearance today.
Friedman foresaw Scarborough-Bloomberg running on a platform of Simpson-Bowles on the economy, an "investment agenda" [infrastructure spending], and getting out of Afghanistan ASAP. "I would bet any amount of money," forecast Friedman, that such a ticket would immediately have a "significant, significant" position. View the video here.

I saw that floating...and then I immediately flushed.
You could actually make a characture of Michael Bloomberg.
He reminds me of a NAZI or Napoleon or Stalin. He’s a two but little dictator enthralled with his own importance. He’s so cocky and arrogant and puffed up that I expect him to explode one day at his podium because his tiny little body can;t contain all the importance he feels he generates.

Such a ticket would siphon more votes from Obama.

Please let this happen! I can’t wait to hear Friedman talk about how communist China has such a better system than we do and Nanny Bloomberg demanding we all eat our peas and carrots, kill all smokers and be tucked in a government certified and licensed bed by 7:30pm each evening.
