Bachmann's on with Hannity talking up Romney and throwing Perry under the bus on social security

Really? Well if Bachmann likes mitt so much, maybe I ought to take a second look at him!
He's looking more presidential by the moment!

On Hannity, Ann Coulter says Romney will be the eventual nominee

Well if I recall correctly she wanted him for president last time around.

You do indeed. It just reinforces that her slide down has been a while in the making.

“If she said “he allowed a law to go through” she has no business saying anything about this issue because that statement also shows she knows nothing about it.

I don’t know what Palin’s game is?”

Your post speaks for itself, and as writtne it is qualified only as anti Palin.

Regarding the “It’s only $5000, or 1% of Perry’s campaign chest”

If these vaccines would cost the state $360 each, and they got say 100,000 girls then that $36,000,000 into Merck. Now Merck has some sunk costs in this but I wonder how much of this $36 mil becomes “walking around money” to buy influence in lots of other ways....that is my question. You’re right 5k is nothing, 36 mil or a large part of it that’s the real question

This seems to be how Libturds go about these things too. Get the government to make us buy carbon credits/green light bulbs to save the world, and guess what, Al Gore’s friends are selling them, what a coincidence!

I’m not anti-Palin. I’ll support her if she is the nominee. If she is going to run, I’d like her to get in now. But every candidate needs to at least try to conduct his or her campaign in a way that doesn’t enhance Obamalini’s prospects.

Whenever the liberal Politifact Texas (run by the liberal Austin Statesman) has a chance to call out Republicans based on arguable points, they do.

So take with a grain of salt. Their “Barely true” really means “true, but we liberals dont like him saying it”

Politifact in the detail says:
“The order included an opt-out “in order to protect the right of parents to be the final authority on their children’s health care.” Perry ordered the Department of State Health Services to allow parents dissenting for philosophical or religious reasons to request a conscientious objection affidavit form. That form, which has been available since 2003, enables parents to enroll their children in public school even if they lack state-required immunizations. It’s automatically granted as long as parents provide all required information.”

We’ve been saying this all along. There is an opt-out for immunizations in Texas, so the ‘mandate’ doesnt force any parent to make their kids take an injection. If they dont want it, they can decide not to get it. A truly mandatory rule would have no exceptions or optout provisions.

Perry explained this honestly, but Politifact, which has called true statements by other Republican leaders as ‘lies’ decided to squint and squawk and call a true statement ‘barely true’.

“This statement was rated Barely True when it was published. On July 27, 2011, we changed the name for the rating to Mostly False.” ... just in case he ran for President, they wanted to ding him for good measure. Yeah, how trustwothy is THAT?!?

"If she "knew there was something to it" it certainly didn't keep her from wholeheartedly backing Perry at a rally in February, 2010:

At that time it was not known that

1) Perry's Chief of Staff was involved
2) that Perry (and Texas) had been lobbied by Merck
3) Merck had contributed to Perry.

For the record, Merck lobbied 40 of the 50 states. Among those states where no lobbying was done and no candidates contributed to, was Alaska.

It must be romney's good looks. Many women that I've been listening to really dislike Sarah Palin but love romney.

I'm just thinking out loud here-
If Bachmann is helping Romney, and Bachmann is a Tea Party member/candidate herself, will the Tea Party support Mitt Romney?

Is Romney acceptable to the Tea party?

I still think Palin is in it. She declared for the Governorship on the anniversary of the Alaska Constitution and made a big deal about it.

Anyone paying attention will note that she has recently stepped up her focus on the US Constitution, talking about it more and more. The graphics on her bus are all about the Constitution.

Constitution Day is Saturday.

Not just no but HELL NO!

Most of the supposed tea party support in the media is from self proclaimed groups. There is NO consensus among the various orgs as to supporting King RINO.

Take all such reports as BS as that’s what they are.

I would gladly support Perry against Obama/Biden, but at this point I still need to take my time about jumping on that bandwagon.

But if Sarah declares on Saturday, she’s my candidate. I already know very very well who she is. And who she isn’t.

It’s really pathetic that the political landscape is such a sewer that a choice like Perry or Obama even needs to be considered.I have no doubt that Obama is toast, but we have to have better than “he ain’t Obama”. That’s just what GOT US Obama. when the Dems said it about Bush.

If Palin stays out, I pray that someone stands up because the options right now aren’t a lot better than in 08. Better yes, but not alot.

“I did read the whooping cough story, and although 55 deaths due to whooping coughs is tragic,”

It’s not 55 deaths, but millions of deaths prevented worldwide by vaccinations over the years. Tens of thousands in the US alone per year.

http://www.ecbt.org/advocates/
“Routine childhood immunization impact:
* 33,000 deaths prevented
* $43 billion saved”

>> “ Money had nothing to do with Perry’s decision” <<

.
Not his money anyway, but the Billions of illicit advertising dollars that Big Pharma has to spend to sway the public’s opinions for or against a candidate that was willing to use his office to force the use of their dangerous products.

No matter how it turned out, they know he’s in their pocket.

>> “However, how about Palin jumping into the water and engaging the other candidates on an even footing?” <<

.
Why should she when it is obvious that her ‘footing’ is significantly above theirs? She has done the speaking out when the others were hiding under the political bed, so she has earned that high position from which to chide the others.

Seems as though Merck was funneling money through a group called Women in Government to politicians all over the country.

BTW, Rep Dianne White Delisi, the sponsor of HB 2475’s mother-in-law was chief of staff for none other than Rick Perry at the time. She was also state director for...

...YOU GUESSED IT! Women in Government!!

Yeah, there’s no scandal here. NO SIR!!! LOLOL!
