Given the demographics, it will apply roughly twice as much to blacks than whites, but that's neither here nor there.
This crap will most likely be slapped down by the courts in a big hurry. The fact that the racist idiot city council (seated by racist idiot voters) knows this foolishness is headed to the scrap heap just shows you the lack of regard they all have for the 2A and the US Constitution in general. But I suppose there aren't many votes to be had in addressing the true underlying reasons that Macon, like most GA cities, is a crime-ridden, third-world hellhole.
How close is Athens to Macon? Seems someone needs a reminder.
Federal gun laws are unconstitutional and, therefore, unlawful. The Bill of Rights and Constitution as a whole are not a big ol' salad bar. You can't pick and choose.
The Macon City Council Public Safety Committee is scheduled to meet this Thursday, September 15, at 4:00 p.m. to discuss a city-wide gun ban, based on language from a Cook County, Illinois proposed gun ban.Not to get technical, but I will. But that Crook County Gun Ban went into effect a few years ago -- and nobody noticed. It was passed in the dead of night and got one paragraph of coverage in the Chicago Tribune. I only found it by accident.
And not to be a party popper to the gun grabbers, but not one 'Assault Weapon' in Crook County was turned in 'to be destroyed'. And in all these years it hasn't been reported once, that a single person was arrested for violating ANY of those STOO-PID™ provisions.
So lots-o-luck Macon.
When I checked it twice, it wasn't there. I think some of these images are transient.
OK I should have figured the ads were not fixed in time.
Sorry, but the Obozo 2012 logo made me ill.
That was Tennessee. Are you thinking of Kenessaw, GA?
Reading about the Battle of Athens, that was about corrupt voting. This is about a blanket ban and confiscation of all of the arms outlined.
