Cain is a good man but without the executive experience needed to do the job.To the left he is malleable

I beg to differ, the man has plenty of executive experience, just not in the government pay to play business.

Of all the candidates, he has the most executive experience, and the best true understanding of business in all facets of the American economy. Cain is not my first choice, but he would be my second.

However, a flat tax rate will kill much of the purchasing of political favors and bold faced corruption that has swept through the halls of washington as of late. I believe it has great potential to shift the focus and debate to how $$ is being spent. Right now everyone just juggles for more more more because there's no cap to how high taxes can go.

I just can't get over the fact that when the income tax was implemented it was a flat tax and it was changed to a graduated tax before the first tax was even collected. And it still requires the government to dossier every citizen. A sales tax seems to be the better option but those crooks in congress will start tinkering to benefit their interests if they have even the chance of doing so (I think public floggings of anyone who suggests increased complexity would be a good start) My real concern is that we would be exchanging one monster for another or, even worse, just giving them yet another club to beat us with.
