Earlier today, Ed Morrissey pointed out what could have been a record breaking attempt at spinning a loss in New York’s 9th congressional district by DNC chair Debby Wasserman Schultz. It was an heroic effort, I’ll admit, and one for the ages. But never to be outdone, former holder of the 9th district seat and current Empire State Senator Chuck Schumer may have managed to top her.
Why did the Democrats lose this race in a part of town where they hold a 3-1 registration advantage? Well, at least in part, because the district has just become too darned Jewish.

Not all Jews are the same. The Jews at Cornell University are not the sam as the Modern-Orthodox, Syrian, and Russian Jews who are found in NY-9. The Jewish community is rather diverse in NYC, more so than in most places outside of Israel.
I believe ari-freedom post number 9 shows why republicans won.
This isn't a big wake up call. Orthodox Jews are much more conservative and often vote Republican. This was just a wake up for swing conservative voters you might say.
THAT is the 2nd MOST ridiculous comment I heard today - the first being Obama at NC State University saying:
"If you love me, you have to help me pass the Jobs Bill" ...

So the Jews vote to elect a Roman Catholic (Turner) over an orthodox Jew (Weprin), thus demonstrating they are “too damn Jewish.” That makes a lot of sense.
Guess he means - if you vote against Obama (who dislikes Jews), then you are engaging in Jewish tribalism and should be ashamed of yourself.
What happened in NY-9 was the "REVENGE OF THE JOOOSE!"
Ever notice how it is always "The Jews FAULT"? Schumer answer is just like that of Hitler and his ilk = "Get rid of those dirty JOOSE and you get rid of the problem!
Why any American Jew would be foolish enough to habitually vote for Democrats who all have nothing but hate, disdain and ridicule for the Jewish people and the nation of Israel is beyond all comprehension.
Get a clue: Today's Democrats and the Democratic party are Marxist, Socialist, communists who love and are in bed with Muslims and Islam and they despise the Jews, Judaism and Israel (not to mention Christians and Christianity, but that is a topic for another day). They want you dead and the nation of Israel destroyed. To vote for them is to vote for your own execution and extinction. "REVENGE OF THE JOOOSE!"

Jackie Mason’s joke had to do with stand-up comedians.
It went something like this, as best as I can reconstruct from my memory:
An retired Jewish couple went to a comic club to see the new crop of stand-up comedians.
After the show, on the way out, they were discussing the performances.
The first one was an Italian-American. The man said, “He was great! He had me laffing the whole time! He’s going places! Vegas! Atlantic City! Just wait and see. He’s good.” And his wife agreed.
The second one was an African-American. The woman said, “He made me laff so hard, I almost couldn’t catch my breath! He’s gonna be the next Richard Pryor! You wait and see!” And the man agreed.
The third one was a Jewish-American, and the man said, “What do you think of him?”
“Ah,” she waved her hand, “Too Jewish.” and the man agreed........

Wasserman Schultz is bubbling with optimism about Obama's chances for re-election next fall. When asked specifically whether NY-9 had any implications for the Jewish vote in Florida next year, she was cocky about Obama's "strong record" for Israel, as well as the 'Rats positions on "a women's right to choose," civil rights and civil liberties, health care, education, and "opportunity for all" creating overwhelming victories for Obama and the 'Rat ticket. It's always helpful to go up against an opponent whose head is in the sand.
