The hosts on the show just denied emphatically that Palin is going to be on their show at any time today.

Actually I knew that, I was just piling on Drey. We don’t venture into the Won’s past, because birthers have no standing, although they have good questions.

In fact we know very little about this man, I loved it when Rush played a couple of the so called news anchors, saying they actually knew nothing about the man, what his world view was, what he reads,............that was after they got him elected, hililarious.

Palin did not say anything about poLLs.

With deceptive cleverness worthy of Sun Tzu and word games worthy of Bill Clinton, she said that "poLEs are for strippers and cross country skiers".

Some of her supporters, unsure if Dan Quayle was correct about "potatoe", fell for the Clintonian word play, hook, line and sinker.

PoLEs are needed so that a cross country does not die in the backcountry.

Non-toxic poLLs are needed so that a candidate, such as Palin-backed Christine O'Donnell, is not gutted like a king salmon on Election Day.

The reality is that politicians and cross country skiers that do not know the difference between Rasmussen poLLs and Rossignol poLEs are both dead meat.

Yes, I read all your posts on these threads! I'm just not sure which one ol' Reina dissed, because I pretty much skim posts of those Palin detractors who've become repetitive and drone-like, and after awhile I completely skip the ones who can't make a post without using the word "hate" or "hatred." (I also cringe when I see it used by Palin supporters against Perry fans, to be honest!)

I more carefully read the pro-Palin posts because they're often enlightening and almost always gratifying! I also carefully read Palin detractors' posts, at least when the poster is new to me, because sometimes they provide hard info and insight.

And I wager that your time and effort were well spent. There are a lot of lurkers here, folks who just read, and so posts like yours serve to inform them with good, useable info -- whereas the posts that only fling stupid accuastions, such as "You're a hater!" or "You're a liberal!" only tell readers that the poster either has a very weak hand in terms of real arguments, OR that the poster is too hot-headed and emotional to contribute any meat to the table.

So, here's what we know as of 0900 PDT.... It is still unconfirmed.

Bob and Mark have Tweeted, saying that if she is coming on the show this morning, it's news to them. Which means...

It really IS nothing but a rumor and we're left to wonder, or...

They're going to be getting a call they had no idea was coming, or...

It's clever mis-information, and they know but they're not saying (least likely alternative).

I guess we'll know in a half and hour.

Actually, I'd say that HER announcing on Friday would be a(nother) stroke of genius. If the reporters are gone for the weekend, it increases the chance that the story will actually be reported as news, rather than with the addition of the typical non-news "commentary" that liberal reporters like to tack on.

The Friday news dump isn't about the reporters already having gone for the weekend. It's about the fact that news dumped on Friday gets published (or broadcast) on Saturday, when the number of people paying attention drops dramatically from the weekdays.
