Barkley gives props to Glen Rice for Palin rumor
CBS Sports ^ | September 16, 2011 | Matt Moore

Posted on 09/16/2011 11:11:17 PM PDT by ConservativeStatement

You've no doubt by now heard about the report from... wait for this one... the National Inquirer quoting an upcoming unauthorized biography of Sarah Palin (Deadspin.com brought it to mainstream knowledge). The Inquirer reported that Rice confirmed a sexual encounter with Palin in 1987. We haven't covered it since Rice hasn't been in the league since 2004 and this has nothing to do with basketball. But since if it's anything about anything, Charles Barkley will talk about it, and since, let's be honest, Charles Barkley is never lacking in entertainment value, we thought we'd pass along Barkley's comments about the whole thing Friday. Let's just say Chuck's a little jealous of Glen's, er... relationship. From Sports Radio Interviews: “You know I have a thing for Sarah Palin, I do. I think she’s hot! I wouldn’t vote for her, but she is hot now. I’m talking both. I’ve always said, ‘I’ve got a crush on Sarah Palin.’ I would never vote for her. I always vote democratic because I think you have a better chance of helping poor people if you vote democratic. But, I’ve always had a thing for Sarah Palin. When I read that… Glen Rice is my new hero! He’s my new hero. You know she just moved in my neighborhood and I haven’t had a chance to meet her. I stay in Philadelphia in the summer, and I go back to Arizona when it starts getting cold. That cold is creeping up on me. I’m talking 50 or 60 degrees. So, I’m heading back to Arizona soon and I look forward to meeting Sarah Palin. Hey listen if that story is true, more power to Glen Rice.”

“I always vote democratic because I think you have a better chance of helping poor people if you vote democratic.”

This is false. Mr. Barkley, when you vote democrat you have a better chance of continuing the slavery of poor people at the hands of the government.

I would ask you to think about this quote by Thomas Sowell:

“Many liberals who consider themselves friends or allies of blacks are usually friends or allies of those particular blacks who are doing wrong things, often at the expense of other blacks.”

And Mr. Barkley, when you perpetuate a lie, you forfeit your manhood.

Try arguing the opposite and see how far you get.

Barkley is an idiot and is a lot less funny than he is reputed to be.

I personally witnessed Barkley go off on a golf referee in an event I was also refereeing for being a tad to slow to make an out of bounds call. Further, the shot landed in a yard on the course and the occupants refused to return the ball.

The primary consonant in Sir Charles rending of all involved was "F".

Yeah. A real class guy.

Charles? In a way, that’s even funnier than the thought of Tyson or Rodman with her. Even though he’s slightly less of a nutjob.

That is why I mentioned the cities of Detroit and Chicago which aren’t exactly Republican bases. I recall taping a Rachel Maddow show when I thought I was recording a Winter Olympics event at one of the recent Games. She praised San Francisco and said it was a model city of when liberals run things. She then managed to criticize Conservatives. Point being: she praised S.F. but never mentioned places such as Detroit that aren’t exactly Conservative strongholds. Liberalism is a mental disease.

From what i gather the Enquirer is claiming that Mcguiness is claiming that Rice “confirmed it”. However from what I’ve heard of the book there is no real confirmation. Sounds like he met her thought well of her. Think Mcguiness asked him if he thought she regretted sleeping with a black guy- supposedly he said “ no nothing like that- I have upmost respect for her>” I don’t even know if the guy knew what mcguiness was talking about. I’ve heard Rice called her “respectful” a sweetheart etc. Sounds like an interview- not a wild sexual encounter where she was th aggressor.

Pretty sure Magic Johnson was a 5 time NASCAR Champion best known for his no-look passes.

Besides anybody bother to think that Todd KNOWS this never happened? ( for obvious reasons) Be kinda funny if he came out and shot ‘em out of the water”- beneath thier dignity to get that personal though. Go back find some interviews of her college friends, something like this would be out of character for her. Wasn’t interested in the guys-talked about Todd. If she wasn’t sowing wild oats away at college- why would she be back at home, when Todd was around? Only could have happened if she was drunk or roofied.

These are the stories scumbags tell of sleeping with someone they never had and never will have. It’s obvious this was and never will be true.

No, he’s going around playing like he slept with her like any lying arsehole who goes around bragging they had someone when they never did. No doubt he’s an 0bama supporter and these people are now resorting to making up anything and everything. They’ve put 0bama’s behavior into focus and that can be backed up. We know 0bama had a problem with drugs and such. Let’s go there!

Remember his inside-the-park home run a Talladega? Best. Game. Ever.

Well. Then the Palin’s should sue. That would clarify it and end the attacks on their honor.
