But at least he is a Vet . I would vote for any Vet over any lawyer any day ....

Mitt Romney's not a lawyer...

You're right, he's not.

He's a snake-oil salesman of the first degree.

I would love to see Palin run of for no other reason than to see support for Perry drop like a rock.

We need a conservative who will represent our conservative values, not a RINO retread version of Juan McCain.

Why do you say that Mitt Romney is a snake-oil salesman of the first degree?

Nope. If read my brief profile, you will see that I explained I've been reading FR for quite a while.

Typing in keyword 'zot' provides an instant list of threads containing a zots. Or, you may subscribe to the zot ping list, maintained (I believe) by 'OldLady'.

Yes, there are many retreads who support Perry — many who signed up in 2008, or just after the Giuliani purge. This particular one signed up just days ago but thinks it can hand out assignments. Definitely not to be taken seriously.

Are the words ‘tongue-in-cheek’ known to you?

And anyone who can cause you to post like you do has to be good for America.

You lost all credibility when you said conservatives who opposed RINO Rick Perry on the Gardasil issue "hate Texas females and want to see them die of cancer" while completely IGNORING the fact that many conservatives in the Texas legislature, you know, those with the real power, passed a bill nullifying RINO Rick's nanny-state EO.

You, also, are not to be taken seriously.

He flips and flops. FR was running a video showing him in a debate from some time ago expressing his support for abortion. Now, he claims to be pro-life.

He refuses to admit that romneycare was a mistake, and yet somehow expects people to believe he is against obamacare.

He drifts with the political wind. He is a lightweight and a snake.

Okay, I’ve been thinking. Romney and Perry are front runners do to a term called “schema”.(Those that haven’t taken a psych class, look the word up). To put it in simple terms, they both LOOK like someone who would be President on the movie of the week.I thonk that is why tey are the front-runners

I pose this question:

If you couldn’t see their faces, or know their genders, and you only could read the words they’ve said on paper without audio, based on what they’ve said on their campaigns, who would be the nominee?

I’m Tea Party....I don’t “love” Rick Perry. Painting with a pretty broad brush aren’t they?

Romney and Perry are regionally different sides of the same ol' same old coin the Establishment GOP carries around in its pocket.

Both fit the Republican Candidate model since Reagan left office, but Perry is an easier sell in flyover country while Romney is an easier sell to either coast and the 'moderate' middle types.

Do we know their past history?

I would still stay with Gingrich and Cain. Bachmann would still be in there as well. Maybe Santroum as well.

Why Gingrich? His divorces alone are enough to discredit him, but engaging in adultery while his wife was dying of cancer, and paying his mistress to have an abortion, should be enough to destroy his conservative credetials now and forever.

Plus, he looks like the keebler elf.

I want to hear what he would do on illegal immigration. I think he is soft on amnesty. So far what I’ve heard disturbs me. I am also not happy with the NAFTA highway, which he seems to favor. I do not think that Islam should be taught in schools! I just can’t get with this man. My spirit says, no, no, no. I didn’t like the Bushes, and I think Perry is just more of the same.
