If the Pali’s have their own state, then firing on Israel is an ACT OF WAR by a soverign state. This ought to be fun to watch; they declare an independent state, backed by the UN and continue to lob rockets and shoot, stab or otherwise try to, and kill Israeli citizens.... Israel declares war and destroys the new nation state’s capacity to wage war, and again as the non-aggressor is entitled to occupy the lands it takes, which is the rule land warefare.
That’s why Hamas is opposed.
