Perry is more conservative than Bush, and that’s as good as were going to get at the moment.

Ford was a right-of-center moderate and made no pretensions otherwise, but he was never a liberal and he was probable more conservative than Nixon.

Bill Clinton is, was and always has been a liberal. The only difference between him and Obama is that he was smart enough to see when he had been out maneuvered and to co-opt the Republican agenda when it was politically advantageous.
