Carrie Kizer is not amused. An executive assistant for Berkshire Hathaway Inc. CEO Warren Buffett in Omaha, Neb., she has been fielding media requests for two days from reporters looking to talk to Warren Buffett's secretary. The calls have been coming ever since the president in announcing a plan to raise taxes on investment income said Monday morning, "Warren Buffett's secretary shouldn't pay a higher tax rate than Warren Buffett."

MoveOn is now trying to turn "Warren Buffett's secretary" into a stock character in election 2012, releasing an online video in which a series of people step up and say, "I'm Warren Buffett's secretary."

Meanwhile, actual staff at Berkshire Hathaway are seeking to stay out of it. Kizer declined to give out more information about how many executive assistants Buffett has or their names. "I can't give you the answers that you are looking for," she said.

If Kizer or other “assistants” are so smart, maybe they can explain to the “media” why it’s incorrect to conflate the marginal income tax rate with the tax rate on capital gains, and a handful of other misstatements that are being passed-off as facts.

I don’t understand why some republican doesn’t run with this. Yes, Warren Bufffet’s secretary shouldn’t pay a higher tax rate than he does. It is unfair, but the answer is not in raising Buffet’s taxes, but in lowering the tax rate of all Americans.

Why can’t our guys ever stuff the Dem BS back at them?

How about this: Buffet’s Secretary should be making a buck-Fifty a year — not some paltry 60k salary. She should have stocks and a healthy retirement plan to boot. She should be making dividends and capital gains to boot — pushing her gross income to well over 250k a year. In the end, this woman should be “rich enough” that she’s one of the “rich” in Obama’s Crosshairs. And she should tell Buffet is a cheap F#$@% for not making it so.

I ask the same question.
Why does our side not bring up the homosexual agenda.
English as the official language.
Close the border, not enough said about it>

All are what the majority want and yet our side stays silent. Hell look at stupid our country has become when we have a woman on stage dancing with another woman, dances with stars> but then this woman thinks they’re a man but likes women.

She should be told to seek mental help not be on stage telling us that we have to accept this pathetic sick agenda

The hell with the 'secretary' I wanna here from his mistress. What does she have to do? How much gag factor is there? Does she have to 'prep' herself....and so forth....

If, but the off chance the dude is a poofter, forget the above - I don't wanna hear anything about it.

Isn’t “secretary” a misogynistic term, according to the left?

And is Obama assuming that the “secretary” is a female?

The huge group of baby boomers are quickly turning from being taxpayers who pay taxes on income (25%-35% brackets) to taxpayers who pay taxes on the return on their investments (15% capital gains).

THIS IS THE ONLY REASON THE LEFTISTS WANT TO INCREASE CAPITAL GAINS TAXES! WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

You have that right! Look at how many pundits as well as reporters and folks have missed this fact....Obama is pushing his s-c-a-r-e tactics Marxist button hoping to confuse and divide even further.

if Buffet wants to pay more in taxes, he can just simply not deduct his charitable contributions from his income.

Absolutely. I am so tired of hearing this tripe about shared sacrifice. I want somebody to stand up and say you want it? you got it! ... flat tax, no deductions, everybody pays the same rate. Period. Fairly shared from the person making $100 to the person making $100M.

Does Buffet really have a secretary? Does she take real live dictation and type flawlessly on an IBM Selectric?

I thought the days of secretaries are long gone.

The phony egomaniac Buffett who buys his suits from a Chinese company...

Warren Buffett, the investor, is not usually the subject of chatter on planet fashion. But since he started wearing suits made by the Chinese company Dalian Dayang Trands, he has been attracting compliments for his sartorial distinction.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/article6837925.ece

Trands, which claims that its suits have a “unique Italian flair”, has more than 20 factories and 8,000 staff. (aka children)

The annual meeting of his investment company, Berkshire Hathaway, which attracts 35,000 shareholders and is often referred to as Woodstock for capitalists, serves as a shop window for the companies in which he has holdings.

Shareholders are invited to make a booking at Mr Buffett’s favourite steakhouse. True devotees can buy Berkshire Hathaway “activewear” which includes jackets, polo shirts and baseball caps. Playing cards for sale feature Mr Buffett’s head on the kings and his right-hand man, Charlie Munger, on the jacks.

As much as he is worth she may make over $250,000 year. She may be one of the evil rich!!!
