As for the grueling schedule, I, as a man, would think the women have an advantage. Look at the schedules they can maintain as working moms.

I don’t know, but no doubt they fished Bassin Gal. I have met the director of BG, but, hate to admit, I can’t remember her name. She and her husband were the founders/owners.

No offense to all these pro fishermen/women, but until they’ve spent a winter drilling holes on hard water in sub freezing temps and blowing snow, they ain’t really worked..........LOL!

You are right, fishing, even the tournament fishing, is not near as hard as some work.
Being a recreational ONLY angler, doing it as a job would not be in my MO.
Although I have covered, written about, and fished as a co-angler in several tournaments, I prefer to do it for fun.

He is a great guy and dedicated bass fisherman. He still fishes that lake a couple times a week. If she ever fishes Old HIckory again, he’ll be glad to help put her on them.
