Center for Immigration Studies ^ | September, 2011 | Steve Camarota, Ashley Webster

Posted on 09/22/2011 9:11:12 AM PDT by dangus

via NumbersUSA:

According to the Center for Immigration Studies, 81% of the jobs created in Texas between 2007 and 2011 were for immigrants (legal and illegal).

- "Of newly arrived immigrants who took a job in Texas, 93 percent were not U.S. citizens. Thus government data shows that more than three-fourths of job growth in Texas went to newly arrived non-citizens (legal and illegal)."

- "Immigrants took jobs across the educational distribution. Of newly arrived immigrants who took a job in Texas, more than one-third (97,000) had at least some college. "

I’m getting the feeling that the only voting block Perry does NOT have sewn up is the black vote. But then, to get that block you have to be mullato.

The most important issue we face is not financial, but immigration. Without a reduction of illegal immigration and chain immigration out country is lost to imported socialists with little education, but big demands for govt services.
We have considered moving to TX when we leave CA, but it often looks like it will become just as bad a CA when the immigrants take over.
It is time we collared our Congress Critters and demand action..

I suppose it’s better for them if things would have been done like they’re being done in California? Just register them as a democrat and sign them up for the public tit?

The headline was from a news article published by NumbersUSA, as noted. The original title of the paper doesn’t say anything: “Who Benefited from Job Growth In Texas?
A Look at Employment Gains for Immigrants and the Native-Born, 2007 to 2011”

>> Sure beats welfare. <<

You know who’s on welfare? The AMERICANS who would have had those jobs. Send the illegals home, and let AMERICANS work.
