Connecticut Governor Enacts Card Check Through Executive Order
Big Government ^ | 9/22/11 | Dr. Susan Berry

Continuing a fiat governance style that is right out of the Obama playbook, Democratic and Working Families Party Governor Dannel Malloy issued two executive orders yesterday that will force daycare providers and home healthcare workers in Connecticut to join unions. The orders, his ninth and tenth since taking office in January, will force the state’s 4,000 daycare providers to add over $1 million in dues to union coffers, and remove the right to secret ballot election for these workers by instituting a card check process.

But hey this won’t hurt the two parent working family that is struggling as it is. What’s a few more bucks to the daycare. You can just cut out 5 large pizzas a month to cover it.//////

My guess is that the primary result of this action will be to drive many small in-home daycare providers and parents “under the table” where the parent and the provider work out a cash only payment arrangement so as to avoid all the union crap, not to mention the tax man.

What’s next? Force parents to utilize these Union providers?

I love his quote that he is for worker’s rights to organize. What a liar. If he really cared about worker’s “rights”, he would not force an open ballot.

Which will drive the Ministerium für Staatssicherheit into high gear. They'll start raiding those types of places.

Who’s gonna watch the babies when the daycare worker gets her union-ordered coffee and lunch breaks and goes into overtime t 8 Hours?

Were I a daycare provider, I’d go Galt before I’d send money to a union

Maybe start a petsitting busineess!

We’re clearly entering an epoch where any pretense of the ‘rat party being separate from unions is completely blown. The ‘rat party, unions, big govt are all synonyms... along with “the enemy within that wants to suck the life out of the private sector”.

nooooo, of course not. Nor will it hurt the single mother who prefers to work and actually make something of herself, rather than raise her child or children on welfare, and has all she can do to pay for childcare as it is. The state needs to make it even more difficult for these mothers to work!

The state has already all but prohibited that, apillar. The increase in regulations for child care are astounding.

Open Ballot? Those who throw the letters out will find themselves in a union they didn’t even have a say in.

These people do not work for the same employer, I thought tiny businesses that employed a few people were exempt from unionization? Not any more I guess.

Liberals are simply insane.

Here's some background on the charlatan gangster in action:

Malloy faced Republican Tom Foley, the former United States Ambassador to Ireland under President George W. Bush, in the race for governor. In the last Quinnipiac University poll released on the morning before Election Day, Malloy trailed Foley 48% to 45%.[20]

According to The New York Times on November 3, Malloy was officially elected governor; they later placed Foley in the lead with no declared winner.[21] The Associated Press had at one point also placed Foley ahead by 8,424 votes because they hadn't added the votes from New Haven or Bridgeport at that time.[22] In the days following the election, there was controversy over several polling locations in Bridgeport remaining open until 10 p.m. on Election Day due to ballot shortages.[22] Foley's team looked into the events that took place in Bridgeport and determined that there was no fraud involved.[23]

Hey, the voters in CT. had a choice last year and they chose to elect a commie for their governor. I’m sure many of those being affected by these orders voted for the dictator-wanna-be.

Being the amoral thug she was, I am sure she is cackling...if they permit souls in hell to watch their socially corrupt handy work play out. I don't know that she knows.
