Herman Cain speaks at CPAC in FL
A country in crisis needs a leader who is not a lifelong politician, or a waffler, or a politics as usual leader.
Herman Cain is one of the few who can think out of the box
and exactly what is needed before we turn into another Greece.
Pinging the HC list!
Kudos to Cain: Calls for EPA do over

For some reason, I am not supposed to post Cain articles in Frontpage news, but you can keep abreast of Herman Cain news through the HC Ping list. Just FReepmail me to be added :-)
Cain/Santorum 2012?
But you can post Perry or Romney there? No fair.
The party can’t even consider anyone but a politician. Entrenched in the same old, same old. That’s why Mr. Cain won’t be nominated. Darn shame.
I’m good with Cain/Santorum/Gingrich. I think Cain has to take the VP spot though because after the fiasco of the affirmative action presidency, voters are going to want experience next time around.
I love Herman Cain. In a manly sort of way.
Cain worked for The Federal Reserve - no thanks. He is an elite if he worked there. It is like working at Goldman Sachs but worse.
“Cain worked for The Federal Reserve - no thanks. He is an elite if he worked there.”
Which candidate (if any) would you support?
Cain has experience! He has actually run big organizations from failure mode to success mode. Obama has never run anything where his decision had any direct impact (before being anointed to the most difficult job). Cain OTOH has done it not once but multiple times. But I understand your point. Cain certainly needs to expose the difference between his achievements compared to Obama’s achievements.
We have elected presidents “with political experience” many times already. How is that working out for us???
Dunno about the VP slot. I think that Cain has an “in.” We’ve been busily electing lifelong politicians for decades in the nation. Hows’ that been workin’ for us?
“How is that working out for us???”
Great minds. You, me and Mr. Cain.
Do you remember Paul Volcker? He is one of the MAIN reasons why inflation was tamed after Carter presidency and Reagan was the beneficiary. So I do not accept your premise that every person associated with federal reserve is an elite.
So what if he worked at the Fed? Would you disqualify anyone who worked at Bank of America too?
Hell, make him HEAD of the Fed. Give him Bernake’s job.
I think Cain would win the general out of curiosity - when people hear him speak, they listen.
Getting the nomination will be FAR harder for Cain (virtually impossible) than winning vs. Obama, IMHO. He polls poorly against Barry because nobody knows who he is.
He’d have to pick a damn good VP though, both due to lack of government experience, and his age and cancer history.
Right, so who could he pick that would fit those categories and be willing to take the VP spot?
The shadow government has brought us this far down I doubt
they will permit the RNC to support a good man who would undo all their treacherous work. Right now Cain is the man.
I would like to see a Cain/Santorum ticket. Or a Cain/Palin ticket.
I think President Truman ran a haberdashery before his term, and he did pretty well for a Democrat.
