09-24) 06:25 PDT DENVER (AP) --

People like Christine Alonzo are keeping President Barack Obama afloat and giving his political team hope that he can win re-election despite high unemployment and sour attitudes about his policies and the country's future.

Alonzo volunteered for Obama during the 2008 campaign. A few months after Obama's victory, she lost her job. She's still looking for work. Instead of blaming Obama for the economic crisis, she's volunteering full time to help him capture a second term.

yes, sir!

the “bradley effect” came from the experience of tom bradley, the first black los angeles mayor.

he ran for governor and the polls favored him.

but he lost it is believed because the people polled did not want to appear to be racists.

hence, the term the “bradley effect”.

how many businesses, jobs and lives does he need to destroy before you don’t like him?

Hey Liberal Media! You do not want to go there. The day someone catches the big O losing his cool, then his “likeability” will go out the window. It is just a matter of time.

Charles Manson succeeded because of his likability too. While I don't find Manson likable, the same people who would have liked him are now Obama's fans. There is no evil so perverse that the extreme liberals will not be seduced into admiration of its "likability".

If the story has any accuracy I would attribute his likability is simply a reflection of how well the propagandists doing propping up this empty suit.

His Ipana smile does not make this arrogant asshole likeable to anyone except racists.

I think Carter had more likability when he was President (although some people found him creepy from the start)—it was after the people rejected him in 1980 that his nasty side became more evident. Bill Clinton is a scoundrel and a sociopath, but he also can appear charming on TV. Obama lacks that—he’s always hectoring and demeaning people, but his attitude seems to be “You had better pretend to like me or you will be called a racist.” Obama doesn’t seem to be able to turn off the hostility to people who disagree with him the way some politicians can.

I guess he may seem likable to the type of people who thought John Edwards was a swell guy.

Likeable? Who knew?

I have found him completely unlikeable since the very start, and I never knew what people saw in him then. And now that he is full of sneering arrogance and doesn’t even feel he has to hide it, he has become much more unlikeable.

I honestly don’t know what people found to like in him, with the exception of blacks, who will like anybody who tells them their problems are all because of their skin color.

“Well, we know he’s a good father.”

How do we know that?! Who taught him that? Frank Marshall Davis, the self-confessed pedophile?

One thing about Obama is his incredible lack of a sense of humor. He can’t tell a joke without looking strained or angry, he can’t take a joke to save his life and he is not quick on his feet at all. Reagan and Clinton were.

Like with Carter, nobody wants to be embarrassed and ashamed of their country. Obama has shamed and degraded the US. He is a POS.

With Obama, you get all that and more.

Me neither. He is an arrogant jack-ass. He could extend a free trip to the White House and I would tell him to get bent.

I find Charlie’s frothing madness endlessly fascinating in a ‘gawking at a wreck’ kind of way and I would rather spend the night in his cell than 10 minutes *anywhere* with Obanshee.

[I’d trust Charlie more]

Are we sure the title shouldn’t be “Obama’s Lies Keeping Him Afloat”?

:)

Obama's sense of humor consists of mocking and demeaning others.

It's funny only to him and to his true believers.
