This is a public (world viewable) post on Facebook that should garner attention.
Tonight the good folks at Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions and some of their best customers contributed $700,000.00 to wounded, US Military and their families!
This was a big night for Barrett-Jackson, our Military and families and for the Gearhead, Car Guy and Gal Nation!
Now ask yourself when was the last time the eco-jackal-extremists did anything for our fighting men and women? When? I hear crickets...

What?
Very cool!
The Barrett Jackson is going on this weekend? Geez. I forgot this weekend is Las Vegas. That is a group of solid pro American people if there ever was. I love the car hobby. Best people you will ever meet.
I believe that the customer from Scottsdale was the highest bidder - a regular customer and often seen at the auctions. God Bless them all!
I watched it & being both a proud american & a Ford guy I was moved.
Good job Barrett - Jackson.
The buyer was Ron Pratt .
I attended their Phoenix auction a year ago and everyone there is as patriotic as FR members. Was looking at 2 of my dream cars since I was kid playing Gran Turismo on the PS...a mint Dodge Viper and a 1967 Corvette Stingray. My bids were not enough but it was an experience.
Thanks for the accurate info. God Bless that guy!
I concur, Barret Jacson outfit is a class act, watch their auctions often
Some of my team mates are there for the show. The rest of the team goes out tomorrow for the Grand-Am Rolex Championship Banquet on Monday night. I can’t wait to get a first person account from my friends.
Lazlo, my son and I attended the auction this morning and mid day to about 2pm. I am scoping out the lay of the land and waiting for my 1966 L79, Nova SS, Maroon or Butternut Yellow to find me.
BTW, I got a personal tour of the Viper plant before it ended up on the dead list. To work there, you needed perfect attendance at your job for ten years. A rarity in union work. They were real craftsmen and cared about the product.
Max, 100%!
The same on quality in the UAW’s best at GM’s Wilcox, MI engine plant. Those folks are often our friends in every day life albeit, with horrible union leadership haranguing them to socialism at every turn.
How about that new Camaro ZL1, the CTS-V and the ‘vette ZR1!
Just watched that. Good deal for our warriors.
This is wonderful. Not only do the libs not do anything for anyone; they cheat, lie and steal for their selfishness.
I have a real Camaro. 1969 RS. Frost Green with a black vinyl top. I find nothing fun about the new one. If I was to buy a new car from the dealer, I would buy the Challenger. I am 6’1” and my wife is taller then me because she wears 5” stilettos everyday of the week. Much roomier car. She runs a new Town Car and I run a 1976 Custom Cruiser for everyday cars. We like room to move and V8 power.
When I was playing Gran Turismo in HS, I vowed to buy a Viper before I die. I was THIS close to winning the bid. And thanks for that info. Had a feeling those who made the Viper were not your typical union slacker. It’s a piece of art.
And good for you to include bikini chick Elisha ;)
