Grover Norquist’s New Muslim Protégé (A MUST READ)

Why? Because once the camel gets its nose inside the tent, his body will soon follow. And once the camel gets inside the tent, the former occupants face a choice: leave the tent, or lie down in the camel’s bed.
The Republican primary victory of Imad Afif “David” Ramadan in the 87th legislative district in Virginia on Aug. 23 reminds me of this Arab proverb – not because Ramadan is the camel’s nose. If anything, he is the camel’s tail.
Imad Ramadan is just the latest of a series of Muslim protégés discovered and promoted by Republican activist Grover Norquist, the man whose vicious personal attacks on conservative Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma over ethanol subsidies earlier this year (Norquist favored the corporate hand-outs; Coburn opposed them) prompted Coburn’s chief of staff to respond that Norquist has become the “chief cleric of sharia tax law.”

In the United States and in Europe, I have met and befriended countless exiles who fled Islamic fascism in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Iran. They all have one thing in common: their very vocal denunciation of Islamic rule. They were leaving something – something despotic – and they wanted everybody to know it. That’s what is missing from Imad Afif “David” Ramadan’s story.
AT CPAC this year, Grover Norquist told a George Soros publication that Islam “IS COMPLETELY CONSISTENT WITH THE U.S. CONSTITUTION AND A FREE AND OPEN SOCIETY,” a statement that reveals either a profound lack of understanding of Islamic law, or a conscious effort at deception.

I have railing against (and posting references to) the PHONY, PRETEND, “Conservative” (and who in my—and others’ minds is a Bottom-Feeding, Rat-Basturd (sic), Islamic Jihadist-supporting TRAITOR) Grover Norquist and the irreparable damage he has accomplished.

As the largest, most influential—and best, I might add—Conservative site in the Country, it behooves all of us FREEPERS to do whatever it takes to identify, expose and RID the Conservative Movement (including boycotting CPAC and contacting proposed guests speakers to requests they do the same—by furnishing them with this information—as well as pressuring the boards of CPAC and the ACU to disown, shun and remove from any position of influence, Norquist and his coterie of Isalmic-Supporting protégés) of anyone who supports or advances the Islamic/Sharia agenda.

Norquist hss also been a long time advisor to Rick Perry, contrary to his supporters’ contention that they only just recently shared a stage, a one time only “chance” meeting.

A lot of really good material about the muslim/sharia issue here. I was shocked to read at another FR post about Grover Norquist and his Islam connections. I have a son currently in Afghanistan, so pay attention to these things. I worry about what his “no new taxes” for anything, including our military will do to our strength. Was the pledge part of a Muslim plan to weaken the US? Now I just heard GN on the radio discussing the Immigration Bill debate, and urging that something be approved. With the Boston Bombers, is he afraid that fewer Islamics/terrorists will be allowed in the country if nothing passes? Opinions anyone, or am I worrying unnecessarily? I an glad to see here that my instinct about the immigration issue was on target.
