I wasn't "wow'd" by the guy like alot of other folks on here, but I was willing to give him a fair hearing. Have to admit, he said some things that I really liked, and frankly cheered.
For example, his comments about Bernanke "not being treated too well" in Texas and the "almost treasonous" comment about Bernanke's money policies had me cheering. Finally, here was someone who was going to shoot from the hip and tell it like it is. I really like people like that.
Then I was called "heartless" because I don't want to reward illegal aliens or their children by paying to educate them -- at the expense of our own children!
That's where Perry lost my willing ear.
