I can only see one reason for not securing the southern border, especially after 9/11. Someones are getting very rich.

Those someones would be the Democrats. Illegals are part of their strategy for gaining and keeping power. Remember, everything for the Democrats boils down to power. Ever issue with them is a fake issue. The real issue is power. Welfare? They care nothing about the suffering of the poor. They simply want them dependent on the Democrats. Blacks? They care nothing about blacks, only votes. The "workers", communist slang for the masses? They only want the union support and the money laundering scheme that accompanies it. The same with illegals.
They always get someone else to pay their way and when things go wrong, as they inevitably do, they will blame others.
