why didn’t Perry mention all these things instead of some exercise in comparative literature?
That's what's frustrating. He is not articulating his positions well and leaving things ripe for the media and his opponents to distort.
Because apparently he’s incapable of coherent speech? I’ve never heard anything like it in any presidential debate I can remember. He sounded a little like Al Sharpton the day he lost track of his teleprompter. It was bizarre.
Bad preparation, bad campaign advice. The war of the books was silly. Worse was trying to use John F Kerry’s, “I voted for it before I voted against it,” line as a template for attacking Romney.
