(CNSNews.com) - During a United Nations General Assembly summit on non-communicable diseases -- a discussion that included diet and eating habits -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said “governments at all levels must make healthy solutions the default social option.

Speaking on the government's role in diet and health last week, Bloomberg told the UN General Assembly, “There are powers only governments can exercise, policies only governments can mandate and enforce and results only governments can achieve. To halt the worldwide epidemic of non-communicable diseases, governments at all levels must make healthy solutions the default social option. That is ultimately government’s highest duty.”

Bloomberg made his money as a “timer” on the stock market. Then he created the Bloomberg financial TV property. The purpose of the Bloomberg report is to aid and abet other timers.

These parasites do not add value to anything they do. They simply enrich themselves because they have a fast index (”ENTER”)finger.

Bloomberg the Arrogant now thinks it’s his duty to tell people what they should eat. He apparently sees that as more important than keeping New Yorkers and America safe from Islamoterrorism. If we’re nice to them and pretend they don’t really do bad things, radical Muslims will magically cease they’re religion-based assault on infidels.

Sheesh. This guy will be directly responsible for the injury or death of innocent Americans at the hands of the fanatic ragheads before his Mayoral tenure is over.

Moreover, if he persists in pushing the erection of a Mosque on or near sacred World Trade Center ground, he alone will be responsible for the civil unrest that ensues.

(please do not count all the I’s”...Im’s...Ive's...Me's and My's in this plea...It makes “me” sound ridiculous...Just know that “I” care!

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

When an apple costs as much as a box of Twinkies you tell me how you can feed your kids a healthy diet. These politicians haven’t been to a grocery in years, if ever, and they try to tell us how to feed our families. Certainly most every family wants healthy kids - that’s a given - but government shouldn’t be telling us how to do it.

So what happens when government mandates a proper diet, and gets it wrong?
