CSW is urgently calling for action on behalf of Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani who faces execution anytime from Thursday onwards after refusing to renounce his faith.
Pastor Nadarkhani is currently on trial in Rasht. He has appeared in court three times this week and each time has refused to renounce his faith when asked to do so by the court.

This email request will go to the Iranian ambassador to Britain. I figure it’s still effective because it shows to him there are Christians from all over the world greatly concerned about Pastor Nadarkhani.

God bless and keep this faithful disciple. If he is martyred (and notice the vast difference in a true Christian martyr and what Islam claims to be martyrs...humble, peaceful, maintaining their own faith vs. merciless killers trying to force their faith on others), its the difference between good and evil.
But, perhaps God in His mercy will work a miracle and preserve this man's life as a witness to His name. Either way, He will wintess Christ Jesus and Him crucified to the entire world. God bless and keep him and his, and if he is to die, God rest His soul.

Prayers said for Pastor Yousef. He is a role model for all Christ followers...faithful even unto death. A semi-rhetorical question: are Christ followers here in America prepared for the same fate?

And what did the jewish pharisees and scribes do to the apostles and those of the first century church?

Email sent, with request to be kept updated, God bless and protect his faithful servant.

Christian prayers did not stop the expansion of Islam in the first place.
Get back to me when you are ready to hold our elected officials accountable for acting in the manner that did.

This email request will go to the Iranian ambassador to Britain. I figure its still effective because it shows to him there are Christians from all over the world greatly concerned about Pastor Nadarkhani. Emails are easier to ignore than phone calls.
It would be far more effective to deluge the Iranian embassy switchboard (see post #18) with irate calls. Perhaps hold demonstrations in front of it.

"Lets not get caught up in demanding his release. Admire this true hero."Playing pretty fast and loose with someone else's life aren't you? If it were your life on the line would you be so quick to dismiss the efforts of others to win your release? I doubt it. The word of God exhorts the strong to defend the weak.

"Im not going to address some a@@hole as his excellency and pretend Im not a Christian. Do you really think this bloodthirsty Islam monkey cares about what I think?" If your reply to my post is an example of how you normally express yourself, than please, by all means, refrain from sending the Iranian embassy any correpsondence, as it would be more detrimental to this Christian's plight than helpful.

I have done missionary work in ‘restricted/hostile’ areas of the world. I have repeatedly told my husband if I am held hostage or arrested don’t give in to them and don’t bother to try to negotiate my release as I would probably be killed for witnessing strongly to my captors. Pray for me is all I ask.
I’m not afraid to die for what I believe, and I doubt this man is either. Most Christians who convert from Islam know that they will be killed for it, they have counted the cost of following Jesus and have accepted it.
Would I like to see his release? Of course. However, we have a muslim in the WH and this man is not a US citizen so it is unrealistic for Zero to do anything.

Thanks James. No, that is not how I usually express my sentiments, otherwise I probably would not still be a Freeper after eight years.
I am praying for this man with all my heart. I will not suck up to some “excellency” in Iran. That is all.
