As I see it, we have a few options here.

- both camps can agree that our candidates both screwed up and aren’t perfect
- we can start arguing about who’s endorsement was worse
- we can start digging up all of their other endorsements and start figuring out who’s got the most consistent record of poor judgement

I’m sure that my fellow FReepers will figure it out.

Let’s at least keep it orderly.

I like how you think.

Let’s not devolve into a circular firing squad over this. That was then, this is now and we certainly have real issues to focus on.

There is a 4th option. Who cares. The entire line up on the GOP side for '08 blew. It was a weak bunch of losers. With the possibility of the worst one, McLame, becoming the nominee, people made decisions. I voted for Mittens that cycle because I hated McLame more. Endorsements based off that election cycle are silly.

From left are: Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif.; Mike Huckabee, former governor of Arkansas; Jim Gilmore, former governor of Virginia; Mitt Romney, former Massachusetts governor; Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan.; Rep. Ron Paul, R-Texas.; Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo.; Tommy Thompson, former secretary of Health and Human Services; Rudy Giuliani, former New York mayor; and Sen. John McCain.

Remember all these dopes? I threw up in my mouth a little remembering all that mediocrity in one place.
