FULL TITLE: Flashback: Obama Blames US Guns For Mexican Violence, Then Starts Running Guns to Mexico 5 Months Later
In April 2009 Barack Obama traveled to Mexico and blamed US gun sellers for This war is being waged with guns purchased not here but in the United States...more than 90 percent of the guns recovered in Mexico come from the United States, many from gun shops that lay in our shared border. So we have responsibilities as well.
Just to be sure, a few months later the Obama Administration started running their own guns to Mexico.
Also today..Mexican Attorney General told reporters that Obama is more involved with Operation Fast and Furious than he is admitting. The Cypress Times reported:

Mexico needs to look to its own military and those of its neighbors as a source for these munitions and weapons.

Can’t argue with that.
Early on when the “guns going south and it’s dealers’ fault” accusation started, I opined that the ATF knew and had signed off for all the proper paperwork required, bulk shipments crossed the border, then...disappeared as intended.
So far everything we know of has been semi-auto or less. If anything is “class III” (grenades included) then Mexico would have to check its side of the paperwork trail.
I’m not thinking that’s it, however, because those who would have signed off on this side would be making a very loud noise about it to protect their necks.
