Ethics are taught by good parents or Bible quoting Pastors, certainly no longer in schools. When the Bible was the main text book in primary schools of old, THEN ethics were certainly taught in schools.
The president grew up a Muslim. Do they teach ethics in Muslim schools?
He must have taken a class on hotdog eating and passed because i’ve seen plenty of pics of that!
I would say that he listened about as carefully in ethics class as he says he did in Rev Wright’s church.
nobama’s ethics still not on the drawing board. He doesn’t know the meaning of the word. Someone put it on his teleprompter.
Has anybody actually seen Obama play basketball? He throws a baseball like a spaz, looks like a 18++ handicap and I’ve never seen him swim despite growing up on an island.
Funny...
When I have to take ethics training, I just skip the curriculum and take the test.
I ace it every time.
Did he tell them to try some coke, too. He could say..."Hell....I did coke...and I'm still prez..." Scr** Ethics...or morals...or laws....Do what you want....it won't matter as long as you're cool...and know someone...
No s#!+....
Obama acting stupidly.
>> “I was not always the very best student that I could be ...”
>> “I wasnt always paying attention the way I should have [been] ...”
Bush’s fault.
I had 12 years of parochial schooling. We didn’t need an ethics class, we had Felician nuns.....and Father Walter.
As to his comments about grades...he is still failing.
Shocker!!
It certainly shows.
his aversion to ethics is abundantly clear. And I’m betting he was a less than stellar student in college, as well.
Jugears is part of the Chicago Machine. Ethics is the other guy's problem. You can't transgress what you've never had.
Aristotle taught Alexander his Nichomachean Ethics while Alexander was a teenager. Aristotle is where "Patience is a virtue" comes from ... and there is much, much more.
Here's a rundown of Aristotle's spheres of human action, and associated vices, virtues and deficiencies.
The twelve spheres are fear and confidence, pleasure and pain, giving and receiving (minor), spending (major), honor and dishonor (major), honor and dishonor (minor), anger, self expression, conversation, social conduct, shame and indignation.
Associated with those spheres, Aristotle's twelve middle ground virtues are Courage, temmperance, liberality, magnificence, magnanimity, proper ambition, patience, truthfulness, wittiness, friendliness, modesty, righteous indignation.
On the excess side twelve are: rashness, licentiousness, prodigality, vulgarity, vanity, overambitious, irascibility, boastfulness, buffoonery, obsequiousness, shyness, and envy.
On the deficiency side the twelve are cowardice, insensibility, illiberality, pettiness, pusillanimity, unambitious, lack of spirit, understatement, boorishness, cantankerousness, shamelessness, and malicious enjoyment.
In the above, the mean values are virtues, and the related behaviors are vices resulting from varying too far from the means, one way or the other ...
Now THAT, is a set of ethics that should be taught to teenagers.
Put it on a blackboard and talk about it to your kids (students, too).
