Actually, they do. Maybe not Wednesday morning but there is an establishment. They are the Party apparatchik. The Lobbyists and the self promoters. Don’t kid yourself. I live in DC and know these folks.
At one time the Gerald R. Ford House Republicans did have a liberal group called the Wednesday Club, but I haven’t heard of that organization in years. Everytime I type “Gerald R. Ford” I get sick in the stomach.
