Non-Hispanic whites are a dwindling share of the U.S. population, with their numbers dropping in the Northeast and Midwest and growing only modestly in the South and West, the Census Bureau said Thursday.
Whites declined in 15 states, almost all in the industrial and farming states from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania, and from Kansas to Ohio. They also declined in California and three Southern states, including Maryland.
A Census Bureau analysis of the 2010 count showed that the number of non-Hispanic whites rose over the decade from 194.5 million to 197 million, but the 1.2 percent growth rate fell far short of the national increase of 9.7 percent. Non-Hispanic whites are now 64 percent of the population, down from 69 percent a decade ago.
The census also reported that the black population grew by 12 percent. African Americans now make up almost 13 percent of the population, a small increase over the decade. More than half, 57 percent, live in the South, up from 55 percent a decade ago. And six out of 10 blacks live in 10 states, including Virginia and Maryland.
The census analysis of the nation’s white and black population underscores the transformative nature of growth in the 21st century. The number of Hispanics and Asians is soaring, the number of blacks is growing slowly and whites are almost at a standstill.

They use it to move the termites into the areas where people moved to escape the termites, forcing them to move again.
But now they can’t sell the house and must stay.

I got you beat. I’m in Hollywood, “very’ close by to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and nearby is Hollywood High School where most stars of the 50’s graduated.
It is now 100% hispanic/mexican. Never saw 1 white kid there for the past 5 years.
We may see a big uptick in Greek and Irish and Italian immigrants. Things look rotten over there.
I am seeing a sudden surge in ghetto population in previously middle class Phoenix neighborhoods. They are coming from as far away as Detroit and moving into foreclosed homes. At first I couldn’t explain it. Then I realized people from inner city neighborhoods from the east wouldn’t move cross country, and especially to a state like Arizona.. unless there were some forces/strong incentives behind it.

I made a prediction a while ago that we may actually see more white immigrants over the next couple decades, esp. from S. Europe. Maybe some from places like Russia and Ukraine as well.
And, now you know WHY nothing will ever be done about illegal immigration. It’s all about replenishing the diminishing population #s and the tax base.

Overall non-hispanic white population increased by 1.2% in 10 years. Overall population growth was 9.7%. Relative declines in non-hispanic whites as a percentage of the total population are national and in every state. 15 states also witnessed absolute declines in numbers of non-hispanic whites.
I realize that Pat Buchanan is ostracized by many here, but he was quite prophetic in The Death of the West. In particular Chapter 9 of his book ("Intimidated Majority") describes the current situation aptly.
So basically, white people use birth control more.

YES THERE ARE. My ex-landlord here in Hollywood can pass for Brad Pitt. I thought the guy was Irish and he told me his wife (who is also the caretaker) of the apt bldg, who is a white brunette, can no mistakenly, pass off as white.
They are both from Chihuahua, mexico. They have a 5-year old daughter who hands down, passes off as blond kid, complete with blond hair and bluish eyes. Even I could place bets on people to take the bet that the couple was mexican, and I could clean up with that bet. Apparently, there are 2 types of mexicans: the MESTIZOS (white) and the Aztecas’ (the everyday Home Depot stalker type).
This is the same Census people who admitted that they inflated the gay married population by at least 40%??

If a “white” and a “Hispanic” marry, the children are.. "Hispanic" because of all the advantages “minority” status gives them.
If a “white and a “black” marry, the children are ... “black” because of all the advantages “minority” status gives them.
So the numbers of “white” kids constantly goes down through the normal process of assimilation, by definition.

The Democrat hierarchy certainly cares and welcomes a diminished white population. Unless there's an unprecedented sea change, Hispanics and blacks will follow historic patterns, joining the ranks of that political party.
As FReeper nathanbedford (one of the more erudite posters here in my estimation) has succinctly phrased it, "All politics is racial".
I don't think the situation is reversible now since Europeans are no longer the people they were. So allowing more "Europeans" in is not going to solve our problem.

Actually, a lot of Irish ended up settling in Mexico. If you travel there (tho I wouldn’t NOW), you’ll find Flynns, Quinns, Murphys, etc. Also, the Spaniards are white, many in Cuba, too. They can, if they want, claim ‘hispanic’ ethnicity on the census/school applications, if they see it benefits them.

Some Latin American countries had a lot of immigration post-independence, from Italy, Germany, Spain, the Balkans. If someone of German heritage born in Argentina comes to the US are they counted as Hispanic? Or someone of Croatian descent from Punta Arenas, Chile?

“Hispanic” is _more than_ ethnicity. Like those who cannot see the forest from the trees, we are seeing human evolution at work right before our eyes. For roughly the last 500 years, we have been seeing the emergence of a new “sub-racial” category: Hispanics. They didn’t exist before the discovery of The New World. But they certainly exist now.
And (again, “La Raza”) they certainly and obviously have their own identity and consciousness.

Americans are silly to consider "Hispanics" a race (the only people on earth who do so), yet include non European ethnicities like Arabs, Persians, Jews, and Armenians as white.
Counting them as white violates the liberal agenda. I too have known blond and blue eyed Hispanics.
Bigotry is very strong in Mexico between the light skinned and dark skinned (so much so that the light skinned want to expel the dark skinned to the US), but it doesn't exist according to the liberal media. Only white Republicans can be bigots.
