Huckabee looks again at Republican presidential bid
Reuters ^ | 09/30/2011 | Kim Dixon

Mike Huckabee has been approached by Republican and conservative activists unhappy with the current crop of presidential hopefuls and he is considering entering the fray, two sources who have spoken with Huckabee told Reuters.

The former Arkansas governor, who made a splash by winning the Iowa caucuses as a candidate in 2008, announced last May on his Fox News show that he would not enter the race.

But the conservative Huckabee, who appeals to evangelical Christians and is seen as an effective campaigner, is taking another look at jumping in, said the two sources, who are close to Huckabee. They spoke to Reuters on the condition of anonymity.

"He is entertaining the request for conversations about it," one of the sources said. "I do not think it is a complete 100 percent 'I'm reconsidering' but he hasn't shut the door on it."

No conservative should ever approach Huckabee asking him to run for President.

The crazy thing is..........................he could probably win. I for one like him more than Perry or Romney.

Sadly, its how a lot of people feel about a lot of candidates, yet we have to pick one of them. I just hope Romney doesn’t win by default.

This would be almost as much fun as if Jebbie got in too!

Heck, why not? Maybe we can get McCrazy out of mothballs and stick him in there again too.

Wouldn’t you want somebody that weighs enough to play offensive lineman in the NFL to run interference for you?/ip Yes, but to be in good enough shape they can keep at it for a little while.

If Mike Huckabee is the solution...it must be a really stupid problem.

Either that or a box of doughnuts that no one can finish.

I have the fewest reservations about Cain. I don’t actually feel I would be voting for the lesser of the evils with him... yet.

We’ve had three debates already and that’s an opportunity for US

You have not had a single debate, what you have had is a hit squad media trying to stir the pot by pitting contender agains contender, deflecting the discussion away from the real problem.

In a debate each participant is granted equal time, the media hit squad has controlled the time by only allowing only the two they picked to destroy each other, with the ultimate purpose of elevating Romney.

But the Stupid party always lets the Establishment along with an eagerly participating media, decide who will rule over you.

Reagan broke the mold when he nearly unseated Gerry Ford, now we may witness another game changer, at least that is my prayer.

Why not Bush SR? He’s still good for another 4 year term.
