No, I’m saying that bringing up Hitler in an Internet discussion is a cheap trick!

Okay, okay, sorry bout that. Change it to Ho Chi Minh.

Let’s say we send a B-52 over Hanoi to bomb the crap out of Uncle Ho. In there in the command bunker is some Weatherman commie American citizen who joined up to support the Viet Cong.

Same question?

You have a point which I won’t dispute. You’re correct. (And we should have bombed Hanoi while Jane Fonda was there.) My original point however was an observation in the first sentence of the post. Do you disagree that this has been a politically inspired, contradictory policy of this administration?

It’s okay for Obama to assassinate terrorists, even U.S. citizens, as long as he doesn’t waterboard them.

"traitorious"

Better traitorous than illiterate and foolish, said once my great-grandfather, who had loyally served several U.S. Presidents, and fought in world wars.

So according to Paul’s logic a police officer should never pull his weapon when confronting an armed robber. Oops, alleged armed robber.

I guess he’s supposed to just convince him to stop robbing the store and how he, the officer, is protecting his rights to due process.

Or maybe he should apologize for coming into the store while the theif was holding a gun on the store owner. I guess if he shoots the store owner it will be because the theif was just ticked off the cop was actually in the store.

Yep, I'd add especially US citizens and their FReeper sympathizers/Ron Paul delegates. Did you traitors also support the Muslim who rolled a grenade into a US Army tent? Yeah, that bastard was an American too. Do you and your fellow Paulettes believe that coward bastard deserved a trial? Kill them ALL!

No, never, just pack up and get the hell out now. I've served our country with men who'd gladly stand in line to strangle you and your traitorous great-grandfather.

I like a lot of what Ron Paul says but this is insane. It would be like arguing that the dozens of attempts on Hitler’s life was wrong because he wasn’t given “due process.” Ron Paul just needs to quit — now.

I've got no problem with killing terrorists. I didn't have any problem with waterboarding them either.

I am bothered by the hypocrisy of liberals who are perfectly alright with Obama ordering assassinations of suspected terrorists, but who marched in the streets over the Bush administration waterboarding terrorists in order to find out their next targets.

On the other hand, I have to admit I am uncomfortable with the idea of Obama unilaterally deciding that someone is a terrorist who needs killing. Maybe if Democrats stopped calling Tea Party members terrorists ...

"I have to admit I am uncomfortable with the idea of Obama unilaterally deciding that someone is a terrorist who needs killing."

Well then you are uncomfortable with the duties of a Commander in Chief. That's what President's do. HELLO you think this terrorist wanted to have a tea party with your girls? He wanted to slit your damn throat. I could give a damn if he was spawned within our borders. This bastard needed, deserved and earned a spectacular killing. All of you "Americans" who feel uncomfortable need to remember how uncomfortable the Americans felt on 911 when they had to decide whether to jump 110 stories to their death or burn to death. Do you have a problem with that?

Cuba’s propagandists anxiously await to employ and reward illiterate hystericals like you! Pack up and go, they’ll treat you well. Free healthcare, too.

Illiterate incapable of comprehending a simple declarative sentence which opened my initial post:

Due process for foreign terrorists, and drone attacks against U.S. citizens.

Didn’t the US put out “Wanted Dead or Alive” posters in the past? It seems to me that summarily ordering the capture or removal of a wanton criminal has been pretty much status quo in our nation’s history.
