Nowhere in your original post did you preface the comment with "city, neighborhood, area, etc..." You made a blanket statement which was directed at 50% of the black population. Since it was not prefaced by any qualifier, I would have to assume you were talking about the entire black population of the US.

I stand by my initial reply. As it seems there are those on FR who like to make these types of incindiary comments in order to stereotype an entire segement of the population, thereby serving to make themselves superior to them. There is no need for it as it only gives ammunition to the opponents of conservatism and credence to their false claims that conservatives are a bunch of racists.
