President Barack Obama is headlining the Human Rights Campaign's annual dinner Saturday night, addressing the gay rights group less than two weeks after the military ended its ban on openly gay service members, an effort Obama championed.
With the president increasingly focused on his 2012 campaign, some gay advocates believe Obama will wait until after the election to make any significant announcement on his position on gay marriage.
"He really has been an incredible champion for the issues that are important to us," Sainz said. "It's fair to say we've made more progress in the past two years than we have in the past 40 years combined."

"It's fair to say we've made more progress in the past two years than we have in the past 40 years combined." Progress toward what?
Oh, I forgot:
Im just glad to see that gay people are no longer held as slaves or forced to build our infrastructure for little or no pay. No longer to live in shanty shacks without running water or heat.
Yes, that was brutal, I suppose, but most of them seemed to like it.

He’s desperate. He’s pandering like mad to all his little special interest groups, while offending the majority of Americans.

I thought homosexuals already had rights. No wonder Blacks are so upset when homosexuals compare their “plights” to the racism Blacks had to deal with during the Civil Rights era.

...the next President can simply enforce the UCMJ (which is currently being ignored), and get the queers out of the military. From what I understand, it's being re-written. In pink ink.
