David Gregory: Republicans Have 'Harsh Stance' On Immigration Reform
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 10/02/2011 9:35:07 AM PDT by governsleastgovernsbest

Did David Gregory realize just how much he was letting down the mask and revealing his liberal bias? On today's "Meet The Press," Gregory stated as a simple declarative fact that "Republicans have a harsh stance on immigration reform."

Did Gregory simply forget the "some say" fig leaf so favored by the MSM? Or is the MTP moderator so lost in the liberal media cocoon that he simply assumes that no one could disagree with his assertion that the GOP view is "harsh"?

Good for them. Their job is to work for me, not for Mexicans.

David Gregory states that Republicans have a “harsh stance” on immigration reform. Not-even-trying-to-hide-their-liberal-bias ping to Today show list.

I don't hear anybody talking about immigration reform: just letting illegal aliens pretend that they are good people and belong here just like the actual immigrants who followed the rules.

Kind of like dressing a hooker in a school-girl outfit.

I’ve never heard any of these asshats like Gregory explain WHY immigration needs to be “reformed”. The only thing I can come up with is that the commie libs are trying to drive up the “poverty” numbers to get more money out of the taxpayers and they are also wanting to expand their voting base. Other than that, I don’t see any problems with our immigration system.

The POS has no concept of the term illegal as in breaking the law, your reward illegal behavior and you get more of it. Isn’t that right illegal hugger Perry.

I better add this before I get flamed. Another problem with our immigration system is that the damn feds AREN’T ENFORCING OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS! That needs to be “reformed”.

As usual, illegal immigration gets conflated with legal immigration. It’s the standard media template, because it gives them a chance to bash Republicans without having to bother with little things like accuracy. Gregory has always been one of the worst (best) at it, which is why I was very disappointed when he got the MTP gig. He was the biggest a-hole in the room back when he was the White House correspondent, and that’s saying a lot because Helen Thomas was also in that room.

I knew MTP was going down the toilet from that point on.

David Gregory believes enforcing the law is "harsh."

I can think of some laws I'd like to have ignored.

Can we ignore them too, Dave-Greg?

It’s easy for fatcat liberal elites like Gregory to take the position that we should flood America with immigrants. He’s got a job that pays millions of dollars. Take away his money and his job and make him grovel like the rest of us and let’s see if he supports the idea of giving jobs to illegal immigrants.

Not-even-trying-to-hide-their-liberal-bias

???

That game went out the window years ago.
Bitter, America-hating malcontents watch MSNBC and the rest of that ilk, while hardworking, taxpaying, traditional American families watch Fox News. (shrug) That's just the way it is. At least decent Americans have an option now.

A good post by newsbusters. Now there’s a sight for sore eyes.

I’ll have to watch out for Finkelstein more often.

They have some really terrible contributors on that site. Many of their primary contributors are terrible.

Illegals are an invasion on American soil; sanctioned incidentally by the elite, Calderon, Carlos Simon, etc, of Mexico, and of course the self-serving bigots within the US itself.

They will push their poverty on to the US citizen, no different than say us transporting Detroit to Canada. But here the Left (Democrats) want the vote.

Now think Hillary Clinton, esteemed Secretary of State, Harvard, pseudo-intellectual bigots of the American intelligentsia, and their view of the American future.

How obvious is it NOW the USA taxpayer is being steamrollered by the scum of the wealthy Left?

e.g. the CFR.

You are missing a point.

It is not ONLY just driving up the poverty rate. It ALSO includes removing a significant part of our (illegal/legal and native born) GDP from internal circulation. A dollar spent locally goes through 5 to 12 different hands (supporting local businesses) before it returns to a bank somewhere. (DOD “studies” with a $ 2.00 bill in the early 1960s proved this).

Every dollar sent home to used in place of locally earned national currencies is a dollar not circulating inside our economy. What will reduce American unemployment - dollars spent inside the USA or dollars spent inside Latin America?

The liberal definition of “reformed” means give them citizenship and register them as Democrats. We keep using Websters definition and they don’t.
