Its kinda like Michael Moore. He sits in his mansion in its exclusive neighborhood and whines about the poor downtrodden folk (While soaking up taxpayer subsidies)
At least we have Kid Rock who actually does things to help bring business to Michigan.

The “entertainment” industry is full of filthy rich hypocrites like these (Moore, Barr, et al), and the funny thing is, few of them see why it makes all of us “commoners” so angry to hear them say these things. I can barely watch movies and television in recent years—the “stars” have all ticked me off so badly I can’t enjoy their acting, even if they’re pretty good actors. Every time they appear on screen, I just do a slow boil.

(Apparently, there's no honor when it comes to someone else's retirement funds.)

Kid Rock is actually a pretty cool guy. He does USO tours in the sandbox and was there when I was in Kuwait. The guys from our shop that went said he was super friendly and down to earth. His part in "Joe Dirt" shows he doesn't take himself too seriously.
